Description of Work: Mr. Davis tuned our piano that had not been tuned in over 20 years. It sounds great and has stayed in tune for at least 6 weeks now. He is very professional and took time to answer all our questions. I checked several of the Angie listed tuners and he was the most reasonable as far as cost. Do your checking because a popular one listed who has a coupon available actually quoted me a slightly lower cost than the offered coupon when I called them!

Description of Work: We have a Chickering parlor grand (halfway between a baby and a concert grand size) piano made in 1904. It has been in the family for three generations, so is an important piece of furniture and a treasured legacy item. It turns out that Mr. Davis has a nearly identical piano. Therefore, in addition to his professionalism and excellent knowledge of his craft, he has intimate knowledge of this particular instrument. The entire experience was excellent. I will have him back for as long as he cares to return and offer service on the instrument.

 + -1 moreHe was wonderful. Appointments were easy to schedule, and he could work around my tough schedule. He knows his stuff, helped me understand how best to care for my new purchase. (I'd played for years as a child and adolescent but didn't have a piano of my own in adulthood until a few years ago. ). He was very kind and easy to have in the house. I lost track of him in recent years but will absolutely call him to serve my piano in the future.
Description of Work: Tom tuned my piano at least 4 times between 2007 and 2009.
