Description of Work: Service never performed

Description of Work: Contacted owner of this company to come and give estimate for remodeling job in our home. He made appt for 8:30 am then called about that time and stated that he would be 1- 1 1/2 hours late (red flag #1) due to a crew calling off sick (red flag #2) and he needed to pick up materials. He did arrive within that time frame. Assessed the work to be done, which ended up including not only the remodeling but also fixing a roof leak. He stated that he would like the job and promised to call in 3 days and sched appt to discuss price and details. I waited the 3 days then called the 4th day leaving him a message and asking that he call and let us know if he was still interested in the job or not. If he was not interested, I asked that he let us know so that we could move on. To this date, we never got a reply. I feel that this is irresponsible, inconsiderate and very poor business practice. I value the service that BBB and Angie's list provide and use them both before hiring anyone. Unfortunately, both companies had this company listed as A+. AND, unfortunately, I realized too late that both memberships were very new. This man told us that this company had been in business for many years, so, the fact that they just now joined should have been another red flag I guess.

Description of Work: They remodeled three rooms in our basement.
