BUCHANAN'S POWER EQUIPMENT CENTER INC

Lets start off with a bought a Gator from Buchanan's in 1997 and the sales went good but every time there was some service or warranty work it was a confrontation.  So I told myself never again will I buy from this place. I bought a Z950m from a dealer in Cincinnati and the sell went perfect and I am very pleased with that. About a year later I had a bad switch that needed replaced under warranty so I called Buchanans they are much closer. So they said we are 2-3 weeks behind and you can not set an appt for service without leaving the mower there. I did not want to go for that long w/o my mower, but I did. I left it there and they got in done within the time frame. So after a few months my belt broke and I call the place where I bought the mower and asked if it was under warranty they said yes...you have a 36 month complete warranty. I told them Buchanans was much closer can I go there and get it...they said sure. I called parts at Buchanan and (Bethany I think) said yes its under warranty you just need to bring in the old part and they will replace it. I had my son stop by on his way home and guess what they said Oh no that is not under warranty so I called and talked to Eric and he basically called me a lair. S we just bought the belt for $130 and I called Eric up and told him I will never step foot in Buchanans again.
After this i talked to a few farmer friends of mine and they said they had similar experiences there and none of them go there for parts, sales or service.
I dont want to see a small business go down the tubes but maybe they need to send Eric to some customer service classes. Why let $130 sale ruin a customer for life.

Did a great job as usual. Got the mower back to me quickly (the work was done in late January).

They did very good work. Picked up and returned our tractor in a timely manner - we will use Buchanan's again this year. The serviceman acted very professional.

PROMPT PICKUP AND DELIVERY OF GARDEN TRACTOR. APPROPRIATE ESTIMATES GIVEN ON WORK COMPLETED.

HAVE USED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. CONSISTENTLY GOOD SERVICE. VERY PLEASED.

THEY HAVE ALWAYS SERVICE US WELL. THEY PICKED UP AND DELIVERED THE MOWER ONCE WORK WAS DONE.

LAST YEAR I JUST NEEDED THE MAINTENANCE AND THE PRICE WAS ABOUT $75.

GOOD PERSONAL TOUCH, WILLING TO WORK FOR CUSTOMER, THEY CAME TO US SO WE DIDN'T HAVE TO DRIVE TO LEBANON.
