The structural defect was a complex job. It required placing scaffolding under the affected area to use a jack to level the roofline. The defective structural post was removed and replaced. The roofline alignment was corrected without damage to the patio structure. This work was accomplished in one day by two very skilled workers.

I sent this provider some pictures of a handicapped bathroom that I had used in a hotel. We sat down and determined what elements of this bathroom were appropriate (and ones I wanted to duplicate) and what elements we could improve upon to make this area suitable for my situation.  The results were better than I ever imagined.  The provider improved  this space in all aspects.  He wanted me involved in every decision that would impact my daily usage and safety (i.e. height of grab bars, location of seat, non-slip flooring,  etc.).  This bathroom is now completely safe and functional but it is also beautiful.  It has been a year since this area was completed but, still today, I get a smile every time I look into this room.

As we had used Bruce and his team for our large remodeling project in 2007, and periodically since that time for smaller projects, we selected him for our guest bath contractor.  As always, he responded promptly to our initial phone call and met with us several times to finalize details.  We asked Bruce to do the bath while we were out of town for an extended period, and we knew Mitch and Steve could be totally trusted in our home. 
When we returned from our trip, we found that unfortunately the configuration of the vanity cabinets necessitated placing the sinks too far to the left and right of the center of the countertop.  This resulted in the mirrors and lighting fixtures being off-center.  When we called Bruce about this issue, he came to the house, discussed our concerns and immediately stated that he would install a new vanity and countertop at no cost to us.  As soon as the new vanity came from the cabinet company, and we had selected another granite slab, Steve and Mitch returned to the house and redid the entire area.  There was absolutely no hesitation on Bruce's part - he said he would fix the problem and he did.  We are so impressed with his professionalism and integrity. Once again, Mitch and Steve delivered a finished product that is absolutely beautiful.  We highly recommend Tubaugh Remodeling.

They did a very good job. I like them because they are a family and I can trust them. I feel comfortable leaving them in my home because they are very honest and trustworthy.

All in all it was awesome. Bruce was very clear from the beginning that it wouldn't be cheap, and wouldn't we rather have quality than savings? I am with him on that, so I am very pleased overall. He came and got things started and then as we needed a specialty (carpentry, plumbing, tile) he had his guys come in and finish.  The end result was awesome. He was right, wasn't cheap.

First things first, we are very pleased with the service and outcome of our new tub and shower! We found out about Bruce Tubaugh and his crew through their website. I used the internet to search for a smaller, family owned company specifically because I was more comfortable speaking to one or a couple individuals about the project and did not want to end up communicating with a lot of people or never know who was going to be coming in and out of my home. Bruce came out a day or two after we called for an estimate and gave us an idea of what he could do. He gave us a price of $5,000, which we were expecting due to possible water damage. Bruce informed us of the supplier he uses for his bathroom fixtures and shower/tub units in Columbus. We were able to go there on our own time to select the unit we wanted, which I appreciated. A week or less later Bruce came to our home to introduce us to his crew - Steve and Mitch I believe. It was so nice knowing they would be the only two men going in and out of our home. The project went so well - they cleaned up after themselves every night and were so patient with my many questions throughout the process. We were able to save a few dollars by asking if we could do touch up paint on the replaced drywall ourselves, which they agreed to. It was fairly minimal painting and saved us a few dollars, so I was very happy that Bruce and his team were understanding of that. Also, we were fortunate that here was not extensive water damage, so the overall cost was almost $2,000 less than originally estimated! Bruce has followed up several times to check on his work and I am always happy to report that we are not having an issues and that we love our new bathroom!

Fantastic! I met with Bruce a few times to make a plan for the kitchen. I had very limited cabinet space so he came up with a design that was much more functional. He ordered the cabinets and gave me a start date a little over 4 weeks later. In the meantime, he provided vendors and I started choosing the sink, faucet, granite, backsplash, and appliances.  All of the vendors were very helpful and professional. Work started on the kitchen as planned and it took about 3 weeks to complete. Steve and Mike were the primary workers on my job and they were great! They were on time, neat, hard working, personable, and did high quality work. All of my questions were always addressed quickly. While they were at my house, they also installed a utility sink, replaced a door, and helped repair a leaking window. I did not pay for anything until the first week of work was completed. Each week they bill for materials and labor.
My kitchen is beautiful and much more functional than it was before. I am very happy with the work that was done and plan to use Tubaugh Remodeling for all future jobs. It is hard to find people that care about their work as much as these guys do.

We had a minor electrical problem. I called Bruce, who has worked for us previously,and he sent someone out the next day and remedied the problem. I feel I can always count on Tubaugh Remodeling if I need something done, large or small.

The actual work was done by Mitch and Steve. They gutted all three baths and rebuilt from the ground up. They tiled the floor and the walls around the tub in one bathroom. They also tiled the floor in the master bath and and built a custom shower, including a bench and beautiful glass shower doors. The tile job in both bathrooms is amazing. They installed custom cabinets, sinks, commodes, granite counter tops and a new tub. They handled the electric, plumbing, dry wall and more. They installed new fixtures, medicine cabinets, lights and even painted. New exhaust fans were installed and properly ventilated outside the home. They even mixed up stain to match the outside so the vents would blend with the house.

All in all the whole experience with Tubaugh Remodeling was top notch. Steve & Mitch cleaned up every night and were good with our two cats. If we had any concerns they took care of them. Every day we came home to check out all the changes and watch the transformation. We are so happy with the way all three bathrooms turned out, they look good enough for a spa. Steve and Mitch are true professionals.

Over all it was wonderful. Mitch and Steve do amazing work. They go way over and beyond to do the job right and make sure the home owner is happy. They show up on time, work all day, without a lunch break, and leave the place cleaner then it was when they got there. I just can't say enough positive things about Mitch and Steve. Our bathrooms are truly beautiful. I love every thing they did especially the tile work, in both the shower walls and on the floors. Everything they installed was done with perfection. The bathrooms turned out even more beautiful then I imagined.

We needed to replace a 35 year old freezer and 20 year dishwasher so we purchased new ones and then called Tubaugh Remodeling to remove the old appliances and install the new. Since 2007 when they did an excellent job renovating our home, they have been our "go to guys" when something needs to be done. A two-man crew (Mitch and Steve) arrived on time December 1st and 6 hours later the old appliances were removed and the new ones installed without a hitch. However, after the dishwasher was installed we noticed a ding/dent in the lower corner of the door that had to have happened when the store delivered it. Not wanting to go through the hassle of returning and waiting for a new one we decided it wasn't that noticeable and to ignore it. Not so with Mitch and Steve. Using two blocks of wood and a couple of clamps they repaired the spot to near perfection demonstrating once again the expertise and perfection we have come to expect from the employees of Tubaugh Remodeling. And as usual, the work spaces were cleaner when they finished than when they began.

Overall this remodel went great and I am very pleased with the quality of both my new bathrooms. Thanks guys!

When an ice jam in the top trough of our kitchen window melted and caused water damage to our kitchen wall, we called Tubaugh Remodeling to repair it because we knew they would do excellent work from past experience. A two-man crew showed up to repair the wall and the other items we had added to our list. In just a day and a half they had spackled and sanded the damaged spot, and painted the entire wall so there was no evidence of where it had been damaged. They painted the kitchen ceiling 3 times to cover nicotine residue, and painted the bathroom ceiling twice for the same reason. They also caulked the bathroom stool and the pedestal sink and they fixed a leak in a connection to our water filter in the basement. The final thing on our list was to check the caulking in all the windows to prevent any future leaks. In 2007 we were very satisfied with Tubaugh Remodeling's extensive renovation to our house so now we call them whenever we need something done in the house and are never disappointed.

calls were returned quickly. free estimate. very pleasant and professional. the person who first came to check out the job was different from those who actually did it. we were able to schedule quickly, the work was completed in 1 day. we were told up to a day and a half. the work was done well. The fans work. there was plenty of dust afterward, but only in the bathrooms. the workers did check with me on the site of the fans, as 1 had to be installed off center because of ceiling beams.

We hired Bruce and his men originally to remodel a bathroom. The job included change out of fixtures, drywall, tile work, lighting and baseboard carpentry. The thing that most impressed me at the time of estimate was his commitment to the highest standards of professionalism in his work, as evidenced by his willingness to respectfully disagree with my initial concepts for the work and presentation of alternatives complete with pros and cons. I was not disappointed in the quality of the work; it was performed and completed with superb attention to detail, on time, with unbelievable cleanliness. I was able to trust that my home was safe in their hands. We were so pleased with the work that we went on to hire his team to complete a second bath and family room. During the second job, we discovered damage to our house due to problematic window and gutter installation from 5 years previous. He was able to step in and mobilize another team to repair and fix the damage. I cannot say enough positive things about the amazing details from flawless drywall work to amazing carpentry.

We possibly got their name through a referral. They were great. There were about a few guys who worked on the project. The same people came back and worked on it day after day for a couple of weeks and got it all finished. So, that was great.

They were very nice but we ended up doing most of the work ourselves because of money and time restraints. The quote was very competitive but we chose to do it ourselves. They were polite and professional and they gave us recommendations. We would have felt comfortable with them doing the work had we hired them.

They did a great job, it was beautiful. They did plumbing, electric, painting, flooring, tiling, and drywall. They came when they said they would and stayed all day. They put in a glass door for the shower. They put glass on the rest of the wall too. They put tile on the shower, floor, and ceiling. They put in new fixtures for us.

Overall it was an excellent job. Bruce and crew were easy to work with. They listened to what we wanted and had excellent ideas. They do a very high quality job with expertise in all aspects needed. Bruce even did a custom built cabinet in the main bath, floor to ceiling, which turned out looking like a very high quality built in. The tile work is a good as any I have seen. The stain on the oak doors matched the other wood work beautifully. They are hard workers and concerned about the customer. We have been bery pleased and will use them again.

We lost electrical power to our office, spare bedroom, and basement on Friday, Oct. 9th. We had had an excellent experience with Tubaugh Remoding in 2007 when they did some renovation for us. Knowing they also did home repair, we called them Friday morning. Bruce Tubaugh answered right away and said he would be at our home in about an hour. True to his word, he and Justin arrived on time, traced the problem to its source and had it repaired within an hour of arrival. Once again the expertise of Bruce Tubaugh and his company saved us from a lot of frustration.

We had a sudden collapse of our old tile wall within our tub/shower. We have only one bathroom with a shower, and needed advice and repair quickly. I called several remodelers and tile specialists that came highly recommended or with whom I had previous experience. One came relatively quickly to take a look, and all would have required prolonged waits before work could start, or even before evaluation could be accomplished. I found Tubaugh's information on line, and Bruce came over within a few hours to evaluate the situation and give me options. It became evident that my 1960 bathroom really was in need of complete replacement to do the job right. This was not a surprise to me, but an expense I had not planned on immediately. Bruce gave me very good information, with no suggestion or pressure to sign a contract before I had time to contemplate my options or get second opinions. Once we decided to go with Tubaugh, they started within a few days. Throughout the entire process, Bruce and was extremely helpful in assisting me in the many decisions that were needed. While I was free to use and vendors or materials I chose, the businesses he suggested for tile, bathroom fixtures, and countertops were great to deal with. The rather complicated process was simplified with his calm, sound, assistance. Tubaugh Remodeling ia a small, family business. All of the workers that came into my home were friendly, polite, and respectful of my property. They left the house cleaner than when they came in, including the garage, which they used for some tile and other material preparation. They were very careful with my indoor animals, and I had no concerns with having them working in the house when we were not home. The work is high quality, and when I have had concerns, adjustments were made right away. I had subsequently had them replace a medicine cabinet and fan an our half bath, replace a kitchen range hood, and install lighting over my basement stairs. Often it is not known how complicated these replacements will be until they tear out the old appliances. Tubaugh remodeling has no problem doing whatever needs done to tackle unforeseen problems, and to do the job right whatever comes up. Since they do all of their own work- plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, tile, painting, etc.- I dealt with the people doing the job, and things moved smoothly and quickly without the need for other contractors to come in.
