MC CONSTRUCTION

He goes by PCM Construction now, but it's Pat McGloin and his son Cory McGloin. Pat is the biggest liar you will ever meet. He took $34,500 for a pole barn July 2023 promised to be done Thanksgiving 2023. In Sept 2024 he hired another contractor to "cover up his mistakes and finish the job". He took our money and used it to go on multiple golf and fishing trips, he lied to us about family members being sick over and over and most importantly he pretends to be religious and brings his wife and family into the scam and lies as well. Pat McGloin doesn't know the first thing about construction. He told us a cement foundation does not have to be supported well because "the weight from the concrete pushes down not out". He continuously lied about deadlines and code requirements and made us feel bad for asking. He even sent a text message saying we should "be happy he's even making progress on the job and not complaining" . He sent us that message 6 months after the job was supposed to be done and he skipped out on a meeting with us and the roofers to go golfing. Pat set the trusses wrong and he told the roofers to cover it up with the shingles and left before we could ask him about the problems the roofer pointed out to him. An inspector and 2 other contractors have confirmed the little work Pat McGloin and his son Cory did do is so far out of code and such poor quality it has to be torn down. Pat McGloin is a dishonest contractor. No subcontractors will work with him because he doesn't pay people for their subwork. He is a thief and a scam artist. BEWARE of MC Construction, PCM Construction and Pat McGloin.

He could not buy supplies because he took our bank advancement and bought supplies for other jobs that he was behind on. He failed to pay his men so they broke into our home while we were away to steal Pat McGloins's tools and equipment. The thieves left our personal stuff alone. Later found he was blocked from every supplier in Lancaster because he owed them money. He frequently would disappear and in a five month period he lied said he was, and his wife, then his kids, then his mother were all very sick and in the hospital at different times. Found out later he was really on vacations with not only our money but other folks money as well. NEVER NEVER NEVER BELIEVE A WORD OUT OF HIS MOUTH! He loves to through God into by saying "Bless you or have a Blessed day." DON"T fall for it! In the end we had to take out a second mortgage on a home that was incomplete, hang all the drywall ourselves, pay off his subs, hang all our own doors. He was worthless and the Fairfield County sheriff did nothing.

HIRED MC CONSTRUCTION TO BUILD A HOUSE, BEGAN DIGGING A HOLE IN FEBRUARY BUT THEN STOPPED WORKING IN MAY OF 2005. IN SEPTEMBER BEGAN WORKING AGAIN, SHOULD HAVE BEEN COMPLETED IN JUNE 2005, THERE ARE THINGS THAT ARE WRONG, WRONG KITCHEN CABINETS, THERE AREN'T ANY DOORS ON THE LAUNDRY ROOM, BROKEN CONCRETE ON THE GARAGE AND OTHER THINGS.
