A huge dream kitchen with oak floors and maple cupboards was created by removing a wall in another room to make more kitchen space. The remainder of the other room was just right for a laundry room. Oak floors and window trim were put down in the dining room and hallways as well. I was beyond 100% thrilled with , not only the spectacular results, but with the well-planned, organized way Steve managed all the details. Steve and his crew are exellent at their craft, don't waste a minute of time on the job, clean up each day, and are always friendly and curteous to customers and to each other. Every single part of this project worked out perfectly, including the electrical, appliances, woodwork, painting, installing of the flooring, plumbing, windows, and even the storing of all the furniture in a pod in my driveway. When it was finished, the crew set up all the furniture and left my house, garage, and yard spotless from debris. I absolutely would not hire any outfit other than Beachwood Builders to do any further building projects for me.

In 2011, our weekend home was completely destroyed by fire. Early in 2012, we decided to rebuild. We interviewed a few contractors and decided that Steve Beck of Beachwood Builders was the best match for us. We were very impressed with his wealth of knowledge and experience. When we inspected a nearby home that Beachwood had recently rebuilt, we were also impressed with his crew’s workmanship.
Initially, Steve spent many hours with us discussing our options and the home features that were important to us. This was our first home-building experience and Steve was very patient with us. We presented the general layout that we desired. Steve then refined the design and offered tons of useful advice and suggestions and he gave us many thoughtful options to consider. He was never pushy with his own preferences and he was very conscientious of our budget.
Steve and his crew and subcontractors started the work in March and finished in August, on budget and ahead of schedule. During this time, Steve kept us well informed of progress, gave us plenty of time to make necessary decisions, and was at all times professional, personable, and practical.
The workmanship was superb and artistic. We now own a beautiful weekend-getaway home with two bedrooms, a vaulted ceiling, loft, spiral staircase, gorgeous customized hand-built fireplace, and a wonderful wrap-around porch. Steve’s idea of installing French doors in the front turned out to be one of our favorite features.
We would not hesitate to hire Beachwood Builders for future projects.
