Here are the reasons we would caution potential clients to not use John Miller's services in any capacity. -John lied to us about filing for permits and getting city inspections. When we became suspicious and looked into it with the city, we found that they had absolutely NO record of any permits being granted, plans being submitted, or inspections taking place on our property by John Miller. -John's employees are unprofessional and inconsistent. He and his employees would often show up to the job site at 10AM or later and the staff he employed rotated frequently. -Some of the pictures on John's website do not appear to be his original designs. You can click on the images on his website and search them on Google to find the original sources. -Our new contractor has informed us that many of the prices John provided in his initial estimate were gross exaggerations. For example, he lists the cost of 1 bluestone monolithic step at ~$1,000 when, in fact, it's closer to $300/step.
