Renting my home was stressful for me and I was losing money. I had some bumps along the way and began to feel that Ms. Bender was more an advocate for my tenant than the property manager I hired. It especially became difficult when I moved back into my home after nearly two years absence. Ms. Bender demanded my tenant's full deposit ($950) be left at the house before the tenant had removed all of her belongings and before I had the opportunity to inspect the house, even though the lease she had supplied clearly stated I had up to 30 days to return the deposit. The house was in fine shape with only minor issues (a broken toilet chain, a broken garbage disposal) but the tenant was four days late removing all her belongings. This created a problem for me when I returned to move and found a couch, TV and misc. items still in the house. Ms. Bender blamed me even though she had scheduled a final walk through four two days before my return to make sure everything was in order. Ms. Bender then stated she had nothing to do with the deposit and was "done" leaving me to deal with a hostile tenant. Several emails were exchanged from both women, pressuring me to return the full deposit promptly. I felt harassed. I found Ms. Bender to be unprofessional and some times hostile. I would never recommend her service to anyone. It was a terrible experience.
