Ron is great. Very personable and knowledgeable of masonry. He is a smaller outfit, but with big contractor results. Price was on par with other estimates I received. Took the time to make sure everything was done correctly and offered tips on what to look out for. I will have him back out in the future for other masonry jobs. I highly recommend!

Ron was very professional and did everything by the book. He took the time to answer our questions and explained things very well. The only negative part of the experience was the absurd amount of dust that was generated when cutting out the old block from inside the basement. Part of that is just the nature of the job, but a system to help contain the dust from the saw or fans that can mount in the basement windows would be a welcome investment. Aside from that, the experience was excellent and we have received many compliments from other tradesmen on our masonry work. We plan to use Ron for our future masonry needs.

Excellent - Ron and crew did an excellent job and contributed to solving a water problem. Everything he said he was going to do was done plus some extra at no additional charge. Very happy with his service and professionalism.

They did an excellent job. Would highly recommend them Our budget was limited so next year we will have a few more chimneys done . They were very attentive to details and telling us of potentials issues like maybe needing roof repairs done when they were up on the roof.

He knew last year I needed repair and also suspected I did not have a footer.  My steps were cracking and the cement between the bricks were cracking also.

I asked him last year, when he was repairing some bricks at the back of my house,  to do the work this spring and he set me up as his first job of the season.

He arrived every morning at 7:15 a.m. and worked through to approximately 5:00 p.m. until the job was done.  My dog required some attention periodically and he was very gracious in that matter.   (They became good friends.)

I noticed him leveling all the way through and he got rid of some holes I had in my walk way also.  They look beautiful and the cement in between the bricks matches the rest of the brickwork on the house.

I have an older home so I am definitely keeping his contact info at hand because it WILL BE HIM I call for brickwork!

While rebuilding our porch, Ron discovered there really was a problem.  The original stone on the front of the house had been installed after the porch was built.  So if he removed the porch, the stone on the front of the house could have fallen off. Luckily Ron is a very experienced mason.  He came up with a work around, got it approved by the city and we have a front porch that will probably outlast the house.  He was able to match the original brick and did a very nice job in cleaning up.  Overall it was a great job.  We are very pleased with the outcome.

I called him 8/25/2015 and told him that I had brick with no concrete between them on 2 sides of my house.  He was very busy and said he would stop by the first chance he got to evaluate it.  He arrived on 8/28/2015 and viewed the problem.  He was hoping to schedule for the spring, but when he saw it he said "Busy or not, this can't go through the winter like this."  He said he would fit me in the first chance he had.

10/20/2015 he called to schedule for 10/21/2015 but I was out of town.  He called again on 10/21/2015 and scheduled for 10/22/2015 at 8:00 a.m.

He arrived on time, layed tarps down to protect my yard and got to work.  What I thought was going to be--slap some concrete between those bricks, turned out to be a tear out of all compromised bricks and a wall rebuild in three separate areas.  (He saw a bow in part of a wall and rebuilt that too.)  He matched the whole back of the house with a new concrete coating so it all looks uniform.

I have already set up an appointment for next spring to rebuild my front steps.  I highly recommend him.  He is very busy so you have to plan ahead to get him.  I'm sure he doesn't want another me in emergency status!!  But if an emergency arises, he will do his best to help you.   He is very neat during his work and makes sure his cleanup leaves the yard as he found it.

The demolishing of the steps took about 2-3 days. The rebuilt steps took slightly under a month due to the back log  from where Ronald purchases the sandstone. To ensure a proper fit the top platform was custom measured after the risers and tread were in place.  The steps turned out beautifully.
The A/C was removed and bricked up in a day.  The A/C was a large unit. Ronald and David did a excellent job in removing the unit without causing any damage on the inside of the house.  Ronald did such a great job  re-bricking the exposed area you can barely tell the A/C was ever there to begin with.
Ronald and David take great pride in their work and the end results show it.

That meant they had to do a whole new footer and had to dig up 4 feet to do so. They did a lot of ornamental stone work for me as well. The work took a total of 6 days to finish. I had him redo my chimney last year and when I was running into issue and asked for him to post pond the stoop for a year he was very understanding and accommodation. He was very kind when I had them

Removal of porch steps, or remnants thereof, excavation down to footer, poured new footer with rebar to current code, new supporting concrete blocks, rebuilt all steps with new footpads, added center support, replaced some brickwork on porch as necessary.

The work looks great.  Colors all match up well.  It will probably outlast the house!

Ron is a professional, very punctual.  Ron had done some tuck pointing for me in the past.  I found him to be reasonable and he told me what not to be concerned about and also what might come up  in the future...he didn't try to sell me on something I didn't need.

For this project, the work took about 9 days only due to the fact that we had very rainy weather and he had to schedule around the weather.  This was a smaller job for him so he was able to get to it early...he books up quickly.  I would recommend him.

I was extremely happy with Ron and the work he did for me.  The entire process took a little over a week and included demolishing the porch, pouring footers and rebuilding the brick and sandstone porch.  He was able to match the brick and mortar so closely to the brick foundation on my house that the porch looks original to the house.  He was meticulous about cleaning up every night, put caution tape around the area, stacked supplies neatly in the driveway and even talked to my mail carrier and arranged a temporary "mailbox".
I believe Ron is one of those people who takes great pride in his work and believes quality is of the utmost importance.  His employee, Gabe, who worked with him on my porch, told me that he loves his job and that they do quality work that will stand the test of time.  The fact that his employee is so happy says a lot about Ron.
Ron was also very responsive anytime I left him a voicemail before and during the process.  He always returned the calls promptly.
He is a true professional and I would highly recommend his work.

  •          I called R G MASONRY to get an estimate  Ron came out two days latter and showed me why my chimney needed rebuilt and not just tuck pointed. There was not any sales pressure just left the estimate and said to call him if we decided to have him do the work. After getting a second estimate which was lower I decided to go with R G MAONRY. The reason I went with Ron was he did not just rebuild what was visible but down bellow the roof line which requires the chimney to have its flashing removed and replaced. The cheaper estimate  only rebuilt the chimney from flashing up. Ron did an excellent job matching the new chimney brick with my brick home, he is respect full of your landscape all old bricks and mortar are  put in buckets and lowered down, other than having a new chimney you would never know he was there.

I received a call back from Ron the same day I left him a message.  He showed up the next evening to give me an estimate.  Since my job was an interior job he was able to fit me into his busy schedule during a rainy day, it even being on a Saturday.  He removed both I-Beam pockets in the basement and rebuilt/replaced them with brand new brick and mortar, all cut and fit to size.  He was quick, clean, professional and was not a penny higher than his quote.  No sales pitch, only fixed what was necessary.

He helped pick out a brick and now that the porch is finished it could not look better.    He was prompt, did what he said he would do and kept me informed every step of the way.     He went over and above replacing brackets and painting existing brackets that are not made any more.      The job was held up slightly because of my city and the required inspections and permits.     I am more than happy with the porch and the whole process!
