Fritz has always done excellent repairs for me.  Whatever he repairs comes back stronger than new.  He takes his time to do it right.

While visiting one day, Fritz notice that the chair he sat in seemed to be unstable. This was an armchair that had been a wedding present to my parents back in the 1930s. He took a look at the wooden frame and saw where the problem was and asked if I might want it fixed. I did, and some weeks later took it to him at his workshop in the basement of his home. About 10 days later I went to pick it up. He had not only repaired the cracked wood but also put some stain on the feet. It looked great! It is very stable now and used often.
While I was in his shop Fritz showed me some of the huge number of hand tools he uses--antiques, most of them, and beautifully maintained and stored. He is devoted to hand crafting wood and hand repairing wood and does excellent work.

Fritz surveyed the table and agreed that he could make an exact match without compromising the integrity of the table. I love it!

Excellent workmanship and prompt service.

Cabinet was built after consultation.  Suggestions on designs were made indicating builder’s expertise in cabinetry.

Arrived at my home at promised time. Evaluated repair and quoted price on the spot, took base with him to his shop, performed excellent work within promised time frame and delivered finished work and reassembled table top.

Fritz "the woodworker" resurrected a badly damaged oak coffee table that I had feared was unsolvable. The end result was a piece of furniture that was more structurally sound than prior to the damage, nicely restored and refinished as well.
