He was very easy to work with and he was accommodating to us. He put in something that looked nice that wasn't really extremely expensive for us. He saved us some money. He really did a good job. He made the kitchen and the bathroom look really nice.

Joe always is extremely honest, reliable, and punctual. The quality of his work is excellent. I completely trust his judgment and work. In fact, I've just contacted him to do some additional plumbing work in the bathroom. Over the years, I have recommended him to friends in need of home repair services, and they all have been quite satisfied with his work.

Joe did a very nice job and I'm pleased with the results! He is prompt, reliable and has experience dealing with issues in older homes.He offered several valuable ideas regarding paint color and texture because he has dealt with less than perfect walls before and can anticipate problems. Joe also did work in my kitchen and basement last year and I plan to hire him again for a porch repair.

Results were very satisfactory. Job took much longer than estimated time but didn't matter to me. Joe is very pleasant but professional. I felt quite comfortable leaving him alone in my home when I was at work and I definitely intend on using him for future jobs..

Experience was professional from estimate to job completion. Joe kept us informed of status as to when job could be worked on as it depended on the weather. Joe Antz was did an excellent job and was great to work with. I contacted him to perform a variety of tasks that needed completed in order to sell my house. He was able to give me an estimate even though he was very busy. Mid-way through the project the potential buyer requested a much more involved repair to a second floor porch. Joe was very flexible and was able to accomadate the changes and give a new estimate. After removing some of the old porch flooring and realizing that the initial floor was in good condition he was able to finish even quicker than expected and charged me less than estimated. Joe was great. He took our call at 9PM and was out the next morning and had us up and running within an hour after arriving. It was also a holiday week. He was courteous, helpful and his price was reasonable given the circumstances. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

He is my handyman, and I have used him on and off for a couple of years now for a variety of things. He does a good job and pays a lot of attention to detail. His prices are fair. I would rate him highly and would use him again in the future if necessary.

Joe installed 3 solid wood doors in my bedrooms and used the existing frame. There was some difficulty and Joe made sure that the problems were corrected. Also, he worked late in the evening to make sure the doors and hardware was installed properly. He is a very friendly and pleasant person who takes pride in his work.

He came out right away and got the work done. He did an excellent job, I recommend him to everyone. He puts everything down on paper, and states how long things will take, how much it will cost, and everything involved. I have a 107 year old house that he takes care of the repairs on. He is just great!

It went great! Need to tell you that we had a huge party planned for a week later so the pressure was on to get this repaired. Joe was a true professional (and angel from heaven above) and helped save us goons from our measly attempt to repair this damage ourselves. He actually worked us into his already packed schedule so that this work would be completed in time for our party. He came everyday and laid down protective sheets so not to get the surrounding carpet or hardwood floors dirty as he traveled to and from the bathroom back down to his truck. He removed all the debris each evening and has really set the bar on how a true professional should perform. I now have him helping me with other projects around my rental property.

All the work was completed on time, on budget, and with minimum fuss. I would highly recommend this contractor.

I've used Joe Antz of Lakewood Home Repair EXCLUSIVELY for about 8 years now. I have a duplex in Lakewood and he's installed kitchen flooring, replaced toilets, finished dry wall and many other odd jobs for me through the years. He's always professional, courteous and reasonably priced. He always has the customer's best interests in mind. He even let me watch him replace the counterweights in my old windows and taught me how to do it. That way, I could finish the rest of them on my own to save money. I HIGHLY recommend Joe Antz for any home repairs.

Joe responded to my call quickly and scheduled an appointment that evening. He made time for us in his busy schedule and we truly appreciate it. His assessment of the situation was correct and his work impeccable. I would recommend him to any friend or family member in a heartbeat.

Joe is fantastic to work with. We have our last 2 homes remodeled and have worked with about 5 or 6 contractors, so we've had our fair share of mixed experiences. Joe is very reliable, detail-oriented, and most of all, easy to work with. We had another quote (because I couldn't find Joe's phone #) to do the window repair, which was more expensive, and the guy estimated that it was a 2-3 day job. I immediately searched back through my canceled checks to find Joe's business name and re-find him on Angie's List. Joe completed the window job in less than a day. Joe also suggested using a more durable material to prevent rotting in the future. My husband is a perfectionist and very demanding of contractors. He has also been very pleased with Joe's work. I would recommend Joe to anyone needing work done in their home.

Mr. Antz is VERY thorough and detailed with his estimates - written and in person. I had a large amount of work which I divided amongst 3 different contractor/handymen. Joe seemed very thorough, professional, and experienced. He was also the highest priced of the three contractors but had reviews stating he gave himself room to breath on his estimates and figured he was anticipating problems working on a 100 year old house! Mr. Antz completed the job in the time frame he had allotted himself.(3 weeks) Unfortunately - any small detail not listed on his estimate is an additional charge at the end of the job - which nearly cost me an add.$600.00! The work was well done for the level of a handyman - not a professional contractor. I paid specialty installation prices for a handyman who cannot compare in detail and speed!

I WOULD MOST CERTAINLY RECOMMEND JOE TO MY FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND FELLOW ANGIE'S LIST MEMBERS. HE RETURNED MY CALLS PROMPTLY, PROVIDED A DETAILED ESTIMATE, AND COMPLETED THE WORK IN THE ALLOTTED TIME. WHAT IMPRESSED MY HUSBAND AND I MOST WAS THE CLEAR COMMUNICATION OF POTENTIAL ISSUES THAT MIGHT ARISE AND WHAT SORT OF WORK WOULD BE NECESSARY IF THEY DID. JOE RECOGNIZED THAT THE SINK DRAIN WE PURCHASED WAS NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO FASTEN SECURELY AND REPLACED IT WITH A BRASS DRAIN. IT WAS REASSURING TO KNOW THAT JOE HAD THE EXPERTISE TO DEAL WITH ANY ISSUES THAT MIGHT ARISE. JOE WAS PROFESSIONAL IN EVERY RESPECT. I WOULD DEFINITELY USE HIM AGAIN AND WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND HIM TO OTHERS.

THIS IS THE 2ND JOB JOE HAS DONE FOR ME. I'M VERY PLEASED WITH HIS WORK AND HE IS REASONABLY PRICED. ANY WORK THAT I THOUGHT NEEDED TO BE REDONE OR TOUCHED UP HE DID QUICKLY AND WITHOUT HESITATION. I WOULD CERTAINLY CONTACT HIM FOR ANY OF MY HOME REPAIR NEEDS.
