While it took them awhile to get to the job (lots of spring rain), they did a great job, and I would use them again.

Hired Forni Landscaping for snow removal in prior years and the work was excellent, it was done on time and the communication with Dave Forni was good and they were highly responsive when any issues arose. But things changed in the Winter 2016-17 we had the exact same contract but it was as a completely different experience. I have no idea what happened. I would not recommend him to anyone for anything. The contract I had was to remove snow at 2" with a promise to have it removed early morning so I could get to work and removed by 5:30 or 6 so I could get up my drive after work just like in the year before when service was exactly that. Each snow when there was barely 2" they were there but when anything more -- when it mattered -- they were many hours late and when we had several significant snow storms they did not show up at all. Because I counted on him this left me stranded. One bad storm they didn't come and would not respond to communication. I shoveled most of the drive by 8pm and they theyn showed up and didn't even finish my job. They stayed less than 10 min doing one shovel of one section and disappeared.. Insult to injuy the days they no-showed they actually billed me which of course I did not pay.. When they no-showed for all the major storms I called the office several times -- every couple of hourse -- and left messages about the situation, I emailed Dave (the owner who set up the contract with me) and the customer service number and I texted. No response to any communication. Not that day. Not that week. Not that month.. Completely unprofessional. I missed work twice because he failed to fulfill the contract for snow removal. This is by far the most unprofessional and unethical business I've come across. At the very least you would think that after a customer has contacted you multiple times you would have the integrity to respond and apologize for not doing what you had promised. It wouldn't have excused the lack of professionalism but at least it would have been an effort to make things right.

They overcharged on days when we had less than 2 inches of snow. Not reliable even though I asked that my drive be plowed early a.m. so I could get to work. Ran over the lawn and removed some tie rods that were in the flower bed, and never put them back. Rather they threw them in the front yard.

Forni was responsive on the sales end, but when the snow flew the company was overwhelmed. We must have been last on the list because after a large snow before midnight, we would be lucky to see the plow before 5 pm the next day (defeats the purpose of getting to work on time). The last snow before I cancelled, I had 1/2 my driveway done at 5 pm the next evening when the kid showed up. It looked as though he hadn't slept in 3 days. He finished the last half of the drive, but left a giant pile of snow in the middle (fell off the back of the plow) that I had to remove by hand. Of course Forni sent a bill for the entire driveway.....

Work done well, a little slow after heavy snow but that's alway's an issue with all snow removal.

I moved into a new house right before a big snow storm in Cleveland. I have a long, curved, sloped driveway and the painters I had hired were unable to get into the driveway. I called 5-6 snow plow services to try to get someone out to my house that day. The person I called at Forni said that he was in my neighborhood and could get there within 30 minutes. When he arrived, he gave me a quote (I believe it was $30 or $35) that I found very reasonable. He plowed it that day and I signed up for service to have them come whenever it snowed more than a certain amount. The company was extremely reliable, showing up as promised and doing a great job every time. I feel lucky that I found them. Some of the other services that I had called were already booked for the season or didn't call me back for a few days. I highly recommend Forni for winter snow removal.

Forni was prompt and thorough in its service. In some areas they removed the snow with shovels instead of with a plow, since my driveway is narrow and gets slightly wider in the back. They also removed the snow from my front steps and stoop. They proved themselves to be reliable.

Estimated $300-320 depending on hours of labor and ended up costing $360. Accidently pulled out all my beets in my veggie garden thinking they were weeds. Other than that, very happy with the job done. Job was performed quickly and sooner than expected.

Neil Forni (who has excellent reports on Angie's List) referred us to Dave (his son), who had just started his own service. At first, when he had someone working with him, the service was a bit variable (patches of lawn left uncut on a couple occasions, incomplete trimming several weeks, gate left open several times). However, for the latter half of the season when Dave was doing the work himself the work was very thorough leaving a crisp, clean lawn every time. When fall came, he took the initiative to blow the leaves (at a reasonable fee), again leaving the lawn looking very sharp every week. The price for mowing/trimming seemed reasonable, especially with a large fence that he trimmed each week (on both sides for half of the fence). He also fertilized, aerated, and seeded the front yard only; the prices for those services seemed steep for only 1/2 of the lawn (1/3 acre), but it was convenient to have him do that since we were so busy this year. Dave was very personable and very responsive whenever I contacted him, and he showed a sincere interest in taking care of our lawn as if it were his own. This report is based on a full season (April - November).
