Mr. FITZGIBBONS responded quickly to my request for an estimate, which compared favorably with other estimates. He and his co-worker began work on the project promptly, and they kept in timely communication with me and showed me what they were finding as the project progressed. Both were very conscientious about the work, and Mr. FITZGIBBONS even had me walk up and down the deck steps to make sure that they felt secure and comfortable and that I could adjust to the slight difference from the old steps. Such concern and service were much appreciated. Overall, the deck and porch look much improved and should be much safer. The quality of the work should ensure that both last a good while. Although the final price was nearly double the original estimate, I understood that the project required additional wood and materials because of problems encountered that weren't originally visible and that the project required nearly double the amount of time than originally anticipated.

My house is over 100 years old and the window glaze was cracking. He eliminated the crack glazing and re-glazed the window. The windows look great.

Jim responded promptly and repaired the damage perfectly.  He was careful not to damage landscaping and left the area very clean. I have used him in the past and will continue to use his services in the future

The bench looked great.  The service was performed as expected.  He was dependable and professional. 

The guys that come and work on your house are very responsible. They show up when we are leavng for work, and we get home and see that they have done very good work. If there is any questions than they will call you about it. You don't have to babysit them or whine to the owner about their work. You can trust that they will do a nice job.

Jim did an excellent job and was a pleasure to deal with. I am very pleased with the finished product as his work is top notch.

Fitz Gibben Construction has always been pretty good. We have an arrangement with them; we have sent in the deposit for them to do some work on our porch before it gets too cold. We are concerned more about the quality of the work than the price. We are also concerned about a trustworthy crew. In the past, we?ve had crew members from other companies who looked liked they were out of jail. We didn?t want crews like that, wherein we don?t want them in our house or where we don?t trust the work that they do. We don?t want to be afraid that they wouldn?t do the job right. We believe that in the end, you don?t remember the cost, but you do remember the people who did the job well. The crew from Fitz Gibben Construction did nice and neat work. They took extra effort in order to look nice. They were clear with us about what they were going to do and why they would be doing something. We could?ve got somebody else who was cheaper, but that wasn?t what we were looking for. They weren?t too punctual, but we felt that it was something that was beyond their control. However, we are very happy with their work.

Very well. We are impressed by the workmanship and thoroughness of the job. We will repaint the house now with much more confidence that the exterior is in sound condition.

THEY DID FIRST RATE WORK ON A COMPLICATED JOB AND WE ULTIMATELY AGREED TO DO A TIME AND MATERIALS CONTRACT. THE WORKERS CAME AND DID THE WORK WAY UNDER WHAT OTHERS HAD QUOTED ME ON THE JOB ($4000 UNDER).

JIM PROVIDED VERY PROMPT SERVICE AND COMPLETED THE JOB ON TIME AND ON BUDGET. THE SUBCONTRACTORS HE USES ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND POLITE. I HAVE USED JIM''S COMPANY BEFORE AND WOULD USE THEM AGAIN. I RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY.
