Eric Lowrey was our Realtor who represented us (the buyers) when we bought our home in Cleveland Heights in April 2010. We had been looking for a home in the Medina area with another Realtor, and weren't finding a home for us that met our needs and fit our budget.   My husband and I needed to find a house in the Greater Cleveland area and close on it within a month or two, as I was pregnant with our second child, due in early June 2010, and our lease on our Medina apartment was going to be up in June as well.   We really wanted to be moved into a new home before the baby was born.  Our Medina Realtor recommended Eric.   We conveyed to Eric the criteria we were looking for in a house, and he found us lots of homes to look at in a relatively short time frame.  Eric was very knowledgable, sensitive to our family situation, and just really went the extra mile in helping us find a house to meet our needs and our budget.  We were very pleased with his help throughout the whole home-buying process. Even during the time period when the inspection was completed and when we were mostly just working with our mortgage broker to secure financing, he would "check in" periodically to make sure everything else was moving along in preparation for the closing.   

Eric represented us in the sale of our house in Cleveland and the purchase of a home in Lakewood. Both transactions were very problematic and Eric guided us with expert professionalism the whole way through. His advice enabled us to secure a buyer within 5 days of going on the market. The house we found was listed as a "short sale," and he helped us through that as well. It was a long gruelling process that I don't recommend to anyone but Eric made it bearable through his constant attention and care of our situation. We really could not have done it without him. There were problems with both transactions which I cannot describe in this space but would be happy to share my experience with anyone considering a "short sale."

We were relocating to Ohio from another state and had little working knowledge of the Cleveland area. Eric was an invaluable resource for us in many aspects of our move, but perhaps most importantly he saved us a great deal of time by quickly isolating the three or four neighborhoods that were a good fit for us and the type of house we wanted. We agreed with his determination and so were able to focus only on those areas and properties. As we progressed with our house hunt and found we had to adjust our desires based on the realities of the housing supply and market, Eric continually provided us with suitable properties to see. When we encountered properties that were serious contenders he gave wise counsel regarding the list prices and appropriate offers. When we finally bought, Eric handled the closing smoothly. Throughout our search he accommodated our erratic schedules with patience and good humor, and maintained an ideal balance of professionalism and friendliness.
