Best Lawn service

They did it right away. They put on the bill what they did. They made suggestions about what was needed to get better results. I saw that, called them to schedule an appointment, and they came right out.

I like if there is a problem, they will come right out and correct it. The staff is very nice.

They've been very responsive. We have a contract and they come every 6 weeks or so.

Even from the first call after submitting their online quote form, customer service was top priority. They responded quickly and explained every detail. I was able to exchange emails with a customer service person and ask many questions about their services and how they operate. While the paperwork was still in the mail I received a phone call letting me know that they'd be out to perform the first service of the nine that I purchased (6 fertilizer, 1 lime, 1 grub + aeration). I had planted new grass and asked that they avoid those areas with pre-emergent fertilizer. Not only did they avoid them, they used fertilizer without pre-emergent on those areas + left a note with the paperwork confirming that they had done so. The prices are very attractive when compared to other local companies. They offer free consultation between visits if you need advice about your yard, weeds, etc. and promise to schedule an appointment within 24-48 hours of calling. I also purchased a fall aeration visit from them as well. They only offer this service as an add-on for current customers, but the price is much lower than I had been quoted elsewhere. Finally, their discount and referral system is top notch. $20 off for every referral with no limit, 5% off if you prepay a season in addition to referrals, and each consecutive year you prepay you receive an additional upfront discount (5% the first year, 7% the second, etc). They do also offer organic lawn care, over seeding, slice seeding, tree/shrub, insect control, and large area lawn programs. If you're looking for a local company to support who has competitive prices and great service, this is the one.

I have some large grown spots on the grass and they haven't informed me if we have any graft in suspension or what's going on with it, or are they just coming to apply and that's it. So I need to call them and find out if I have any idea of what's going on.

After getting quotes from various lawn care companies and talking to our neighbor who uses this company we decided to go with Best lawn Care for the 2013 year. The quote we accepted was for eight applications over the course of this year with two applications using an organic treatment during the summer. We really wanted to go totally organic because of our dog but with past experience we knew that to get rid of the weeds we had at our new house we would need some chemical treatments first. It was raining when the technician first showed up so he returned later that evening and applied the treatment. So far it seems to be working on some of the weeds but I know all cannot be done right away.

The experience went well. So far, it seems fine.

I like Best Lawn service. They were here on Friday and they call the day before and they show up just as they say. Our yard looked horrible before I started using Best Lawn Service and now it looks wonderful. They are always on time. We had been doing our own applications and stuff and they came out and we have a nice lawn and no weeds.

The service was outstanding. Prompt, great follow up.

I would use them again in the future.

They do a good job for us and they are very good about coming out if we have a problem. We will continue to use their service.

I had used another service before them and switched due to my girlfriend's positive reviews. I wasn't that impressed with the service and thought my lawn looked worse as compared to the prior year, especially with the weeds. When they sent me the renewal notice, I ignored it and instead re-signed up with my old service. Imagine my surprise when, two days after my service but down the first treatment, Best came out and did the same. I called them and told them they had made a mistake as I had not renewed. I was told that the renewal was automatic until cancelled and that the contract I didn't respond to was merely a reminded. I pulled out the contract i had signed with them when I first started and it made no mention of an auto-renewal. The owner said it was stated in a "welcome to our family" letter they sent out after the contract. It may or may not...I doubt I even read it and certainly didn't save it. I refused to pay for the service and started receiving collection calls. I spoke with the owner on several occasions and he threatened to give my $45 bill to an attorney and stated he would make sure it would show up on my credit rating. Although he was wrong, I paid as it wasn't worth the possible hassle. Since then my girlfriend switched and I have told the story to several friends who have dropped him. There are plenty of other providers who do a better job. There is no reason to use Best considering the lack of professionalism and poor service I received. All over $45.

I have only had them couple of months, but so far I am satisfied. Pricing was good compared to other companies that we have contacted. I would continue to use them.

They seem fine. The grass looks good. We have used them for three or four years.

Our experience was mixed. They weren't horrible or anything like that. First of all, they said they do weed control; but their version of weed control seems to be that they kind of wait until the weed appears and then put something on it, so eventually it would kill them. In the past, we had a service that would prevent weeds from growing in the first place. I wasn't really thrilled with the work. One point, we had poison ivy sprouting out. When I called to complain about the weeds particularly the poison ivy, the guy came out to look at it. He denied that could possibly be a poison ivy, and it had to be something else. I know about the biology and I did some research. It was certainly possible that poison ivy could grow there and secondly, I am pretty convinced based on the fact that I had water that area a couple of times, I had got some poison ivy rashes in the summer. One point, when they came to do a tree service, I asked the guy how much it would cost to grub trees and he said he had to have the person from the office call me to tell how much it would be for the size of the lawn. I can decide whether I wanted it or not, and if I did they could apply it for the next time they came. Nobody ever called me, so we never got grub treatment. It was some sort of communication failure. We are fairly happy with them. We are probably going to try them for one more year. One of the things that we decided to try them in the first place for the first time was because they have a program where every year if we go with them, we get a discount for the previous year.

They listen to your long problems or any areas that needed attention they are willing to talk about how to fix the problem. They come out pretty quickly. I complained about grubs in the yard and they sprayed for that.

They charged $45 for the spraying work. I had to call them back once because I had a lot of crabgrass, and they did come out and spray at no additional cost. They seemed to take care of it pretty well. I don't know much about their punctuality because the work is done on the outside of my house. I would use them again in the future.

I have used Best Lawn Service for 6 years- I took a break last year and discovered that I needed to use their services again. I have requested that the company notify me prior to coming out to my home due to frequent events that are scheduled in the backyard and they have not failed in honoring my request. My neighbors all comment on how well my lawn looks and I always give Best Lawn Care and my Landscaper all the credit.

It went very well. This has stopped the browning.

They seem to do a good job. They show up when they are supposed to. They are very good. They always leave a note telling us exactly what they did. It is detailed so you know how long they were here and what they did. They charge us on a yearly basis for all the treatments. We would use them again in the future.

They provide good service. I never had a lawn service like this before. They are very nice and good. I had a weed that wouldn’t go away but they ran after it until it went away. I have already referred them to others. We will be using them the next year. They charge $400 for a season so it’s around $80 a month.

I have been using them for about four or five years. They call me first before they come in and leave me a little note if they come when I m not home. They are very careful with any flowers or shrubs and also with my dog which is most important thing to me. They have always done an excellent job. They are professional and punctual. The price also is reasonable.

My yard looked better when I took care of it myself. I thought it was impersonal that they just came out ran a spreader across the yard and left the bill in the door. My lawn continued to have a lot of weeds, and they did not do a very good job. They had one job to do and that was to make my lawn look better but it did not look better. I would not hire this company again.
