Allure Painting

My 95 year old house has just been freshly painted by Allure Painting. This is the second time I've hired Allure Painting to paint the exterior of my house. I've also used the company for interior painting. Each time I've hired Allure, their work has exceeded my expectations. From the initial proposal to the final touch ups, Mike communicates with you, the home owner. His crew is polite and meticulous. Mike is onsite daily to check all work in progress and he goes above and beyond to insure perfection. This company takes the time to prepare century homes for paint by washing, scraping, and priming your home's exterior. Whether you choose Allure to paint the exterior or the interior of your home, you will be 100% satisfied with the quality and longevity of their work.

Mike with Allure Painting was very professional and easy to work with. He communicated what was happening every step of the way - when the job would start, how many people to expect, close to finishing the job. The painters did an excellent job! The house looks fantastic. I didn't realize how much a new fresh coat of paint would improve the look of the house.

We were very pleased with the professionalism of the paint crew.  There were some issues with paint bubbling especially after the winter but it was taken care of in a very timely manner after I brought it to the owner's attention.  They really stand by there warranty and the house looks great!

Mike Guinther, the owner, called to set up the time and his crew arrived on time and began to work immediately. Mike met with me, gave instructions to the crew and let me know who the crew leader was. Sheets of plastic were attached to the foundation to capture paint chips which were disposed of properly each day. After finishing the job, there was not a paint chip anywhere!  It took 9 1/2 days to complete the work. When they were finished, the crew checked the house for any touch up areas which were addressed.  There were a few little details I needed to have fixed which they handled quickly.
I had not realized they would be spray painting rather than brushing. But spray painting was thorough, left no brush marks, and created a lovely, even finish on my old house. Mike used a satin finish Sherwin Williams Resiliance House Paint, a high quality material intended for painting over oil paint. 
One thing: if you have plants you cherish, schedule painting as late in the season as possible. No matter how careful the painters, you will have broken, stomped plants. But they'll survive next year!
I'm very pleased with the results of this project. I especially wanted to support a Lakewood business as well.  And Allure Painting warranties their work for 4 years! It was a very good experience and a pleasure to work with his dedicated crew.

Beautiful work, very professional.  They did exactly what they said they would.  I chose them from 8-10 painters I had out.  Very highly recommended.

They were fantastic. They painted six rooms in total. They painted walls, trims and ceilings. They were wonderful and timely.

Professional from start to finish. Mike was very responsive to initial request for service. Evaluated the job and provided a detailed explanation of the work to be done. Chris and Steve were extremely prompt and did a fantastic job of prepping the job while being very concerned with insuring our furniture and personal items were protected from the prep and painting. Finished in a timely fashion and were just has attentive to details during cleanup as they were to the prepping and painting. Finished product was better than expected since they had to do some pretty extensive repair work. These guys are good!

Mike, Chris and Steve did an excellent job with the removal and painting. The other Steve ( wallpaper guy) also did an excellent job.

All four of them were timely and considerate.

They did a good job. There was a lot of work to be done since the wallpapering and paint had been there for about 20 years. When they took out the wallpaper they had to repair it and prepare it for paint. It took them about 4 days to get the work done with 4 painters. Their estimate was higher than others I received, but they earned it. They were able to clear up a lot of the problems with the walls.

We could not be more pleased with Allure Painting. Mike, the company owner, was always on top of things. We contracted with him during the summer but knowing we weren't ready to have the job done until early October. He sent the proper paperwork in a timely way and kept track of our job even though it was months away. From the moment the crew arrived until the job was done, they maintained a professional atmosphere. Each person was courteous and answered questions reasonably. There was no loud music playing - actually no music at all. There were two scheduled breaks plus lunch and everyone came/went promptly. There was no sitting around wasting time. The entire job was well organized - everyone knew their job and did it well. The painting was superb. Each night, everything was cleaned up and neatly stacked for the next day. When the job was finished, the yard was spotless. No cigarette butts, no paint cans, no trash anywhere. We would bring them back in a heartbeat!

It was a great experience. Everything went as planned.

We did ask several conference and their price was reasonable. It's not the lowest price but it's very good.

The project went well. We purchased a home. We wanted to have some painting done before we moved into this property. Allure had done work before on our previous home. Mike, Allure Painting's owner, agreed to meet us the day we took possession of the property. This is an appropriate detail to the extent that Mike met us in the afternoon on a Saturday, and we appreciated this extra effort. We went over our requirements (time sensitive), he provided a quote indicating that with a three-painter crew the work could probably be completed in one day...part of a second day perhaps. We agreed to it immediately. He said he could start work on Tuesday with three painters. On Monday, Mike calls to inform us that his crew cannot start work until Wednesday. In addition, instead of three painters there would only be two painters. Allure Paining's two person crew, Chris and Steve, completed the job by Friday mid-morning (two-plus days). While the timing was off, the quality of work was very good. Both painters were very professional. Chris pointed out a problem with the living room ceiling, and we expanded the scope of the project to include the ceiling. Both Chris and Steve were diligent cleaning up and keeping the project clean as they worked.

Went very well. Had lots of workers but well organized. Job went smooth, cleaned up and house looks good.
