First let me start by saying the plumber was very nice, knowledgeable and performed quality work. The problem I have with this company is they charged me for two and a half hours of work that only took the plumber no more than 45 minutes to perform. When the plumber arrived he initially was to perform a more involved job but after having a short conversation we decided that the best option was to just install blow out valves inside the house. He started the job and realized he didn't have the valves that i wanted on his truck so he called another worker to bring him some shut off valves (house to shop/office 3.5 miles) which took about 45 minutes. When the co-worker arrive they talked for several minute before he started back on my job. My trouble with this is when the job was quoted I specifically requested the quarter turn valves and I shouldn't have to pay for time a worker has to sit and wait for parts. Very disappointed with the amount of time the company charged for this job(2.25hrs). I have a hard time recommending this company for simple jobs such as mine.

I came home to a broken furnace. I called Starcher's at around 8 am and they advised tech's were busy but they would get over ASAP. By 10 am I had someone here and working on it. He had it up in running in about an hour. He explained what was wrong and advised me that because of age of furnace (Which I was aware of) that continued repairs might be costly and a new furnace would eventually be warranted. I understood. Definitely calling again to have whole unit replaced.

I called another local company who came out for an estimate and then never called back. I decided to call Starcher and they came right out. The installed a new electric line to our new stove through the crawl space, installed a new bath fan and checked out the sump pump. They suggested that the sump was in working order and no work needed on that item. Old Bath fan was replaced very quickly. All done to our satisfaction.

Owner is 100% professional, prompt, and reliable. His company has done three projects for me and I have always been very pleased.

The price was reasonable compared to other estimates. The work and craftsmanship was excellent along with the subcontractor used for drilling. It was a pleasure working with John starcher in getting this done. Will use them again.

We have used them for over 20 years, They winterize and summerize our summer home every year. They are reliable, trustworthy, tidy and I would recommend them for this service to anyone.
