Luxe Remodeling

This was the worst experience ever! He said it would take 2 days and he could start as soon as the materials came in. I signed a contract for $16,900, on July 15. Materials came in 2 days. They finished my job on August 22, were paid 17,900 with the promise they would be back the next morning to adjust a couple of things. Never showed. The owner would send guys who did not know what they were doing and they would show up for a 2 hour interval. The work was so shabby, they had to do things over again. Railings were bowed, clips to secure the railings were not installed, they wanted me to accept posts which were installed at different heights with one on a step and the adjacent one on the stair platform. I had to tell them to fix the deck board which was on our step going to the deck because I tripped on it since it was not level. His foreman was downright disrespectful. I had to wait for them to come because...we had a meeting, we had to pick up more materials, etc, etc. He told me this was a small job for them; I had no idea what he thinks is small, but I spent $17,900. Not small to me. He just continued to lie, lie, lie. Why did he need 5 guys to pick up material when there was plenty other things that could have been done while waiting for material? The owner of the company DID NOT do one nail. I don't know if he knows how. Never would I use them again!
