GREAT JOB!!!!!!

During the AC check-out earlier this summer, I mentioned to the HVAC tech that the temperature in the home last winter was uneven, despite attempts to even it out by adjusting the registers. The HVAC tech and his manager inspected the system and discovered all ducts originated from 2 main pipes. To improve comfort within the home, they recommended that the ducts be replaced. In addition, they discovered that other ducts were crushed and the exhaust pipe was not to code.
The initial repairs failed to address all deficiencies listed above. In addition, the crew failed to clean-up their mess in the garage. As a Kettering Heating and Air customer for nearly 2 decades, I contacted the manager - and in a refreshing manner - he didn't make excuses - he made things right. Not only were all deficiencies addressed, but he gave me a 50% discount on the installation of better registers (not part of the original project). The professionalism exhibited restored my faith in the company and I plan to use them for future HVAC needs.

It seemed like the installers did not know what they were doing, like this was the first time that they had used this brand. They were not very clean. The drop cloth was absolutely filthy. My wife was outraged. They put the wrong coil in. They had to come out about 6-7 times just to get things corrected. I would not recommend them for anything. The last guy was discourteous to me.

KHand A was supposed to check out our home's A/C system and make sure everything was working properly since our second floor seemed to stay quite warm. They didn't even bother to hose off the condenser outside which is a pretty basic part of the service and easy to do. They also told me that our system was several lbs low on refrigerant. They gave me an exact number at the time but I can't recall now what it was. We called someone else in for a second opinion. I was then told by the 2nd company that it is impossible to tell exactly how many lbs low on refrigerant a home A/C system is. There are too many variables involved. The second company we had come out noticed that they hadn't hosed off the condenser. The second company checked everything out and said the system was operating normally and didn't need any refrigerant added. Turns out we had a powered attic exhaust fan that was not hooked up. Once I got that up and running the upstairs stays much cooler. The gas line they installed for the dryer seems fine and we have not had any problems with it. The KHand A guys also were not very professional and smelled like smoke. I would not use again.

Scheduling was a breeze, got the time slot we wanted and they showed up on time.technicians were pleasant and on time. Work was completed as expected.

AC failed after a storm. parts damaged by electrical surge. They were very responsive, despite the heavy workload, and explained what they were repairing. I couldn't believe the price of parts, but was told it was the correct price and we needed to get the AC fixed quickly.
They installed the AC/heater unit about 10 years ago and have serviced it on and off since then. Really professional group, they show up on time and clean up after themselves.

The unit, which had been installed in 2006, checked out fine and was in good working order.

They are efficient, fast at responding, friendly, anxious to help, and knowledagble. I would recommend them highly.

Called them for a/c problem because recommended by a neighbor. Also had concern about my furnace. Both units quite old. They discovered that previous installation of hi-effeciencey furnace not properly done. Had galvanized flue pipe that completely rusted through. I decided to replace both furnace and a/c. They provided me with what I thought was a reasonable estimate, so I didn't shop around. They replaced both units for their quoted price. No surprises and no hard-sell. Courteous and professional installation team.

THEY RESPONDED WELL TO ANY PROBLEMS OR QUESTIONS WE HAVE CONCERNING THE SYSTEM. THEY WERE VERY PROMPT AND HELPFUL. THEY DID A QUICK AND GOOD JOB AT INSTALLING.
