We can vouch for James, the owner, as we used him on 3 projects! He was a great individual to deal with and fair cost to do our jobs. When he was painting for Fisher Homes that we don’t recommend to anyone, we had him finish and paint our two condo’s garages in Tuscany, and we were very pleased with the results in 2022. Just now in March of 2025, we had him touch up one of the condos after the lessor moved out of the 2/2 bed/bath den on the top floor, at a fair cost, and he again did it by himself no others and we were more than pleased with the results. Our experience deserves a high recommendation from us for him and an extremely good experience and communication and promptness with James. We like him a lot and will use him again in the future. ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE – TERRIBLE QUALITY – CURRENTLY SUING FOR DAMAGES We hired James Weaver of Rite Way Painting LLC of Cincinnati Ohio on June 24th 2021. He was hired to paint the walls and ceilings on three floors as part of our entire house renovation. James started with our 1st floor and after several days of painting we noticed many quality issues, which we immediately addressed. James promised to fix these areas and continued to the 2nd floor while intermittently fixing the 1st floor. Once the 2nd floor was underway, we continued to wait for the first floor to be fixed and finished, this is when the excuses began, and we realized that James was not the quality interior painter that he proclaimed to be. He no-showed on appointments over 10 times and was hours late on many other occasions. It became so bad that he sub-hired a different painting crew to finish the 2nd floor and the 3rd floor. Due to James’ inexperience, he mixed up colors/finishes, completely missed areas and brushed walls that were supposed to be rolled. He also got paint on our sofa, along with hard to remove speckles on over 30 stairs and every room of our fresh new hardwood floors. It took Rite Way Painting LLC almost 3 months to complete a job that should have taken a few weeks. In addition, we made sure to have a clear and concise written/signed contract to protect ourselves. We are glad that we did because James Weaver tried to send us an additional invoice outside of our agreed contract. WE ARE CURRENTLY GETTING BIDS FROM PROFESSIONAL CONTRACTORS AS PART OF A LAWSUIT AGAINST JAMES WEAVER AND RITE WAY PAINTING LLC to fix the terrible paint work, damages to the sofa and flooring. Please see the attached images of the damages. The initial estimates of damages are approximately $8,000. We would never hire this unprofessional and low-quality business again. They were very good. I hired them twice already. They will be coming back to do more work for me.

The paint service went better than expected! James gave me a fair price for the amount of work I wanted done and he took the liberty of picking up the paint for me! All I had to do was give the paint number and he took care of the rest! The day of service and for the consultation he was 10 minutes early and started on time! He did an amazing and clean job! I highly recommend this company and will definitely be using them again! I am a real person.

Garage looks fabulous. Neighbors all commented on how great it looks and a big difference it made. Work was completed in 2 days.

Went horrible. He was mad at us because we changed our minds on color when he got there.(Previously he had come out and was very professional in February and painted swatches for us, but this time it was hard getting him to even answer questions by text or phone prior to this job.) Lost about 45 minutes due to our change in paint color. His attitude was condescending and sarcastic. Seemed like he got a call from another client during our job and all of a sudden everything was hurried and stressful, he called an inexperienced team of 2 to join this job, there were 4-5 painters at once with little coordination between them and little supervision. He asked us if they could work a little later that day, we said OK but he didn't tell us he was going to finish the job and be out instead of giving us the 2 full days he had indicated. When we talked with him about our displeasure he talked to us in front of his crew (very unprofessional and felt like 2 against he and his team) and was very unprofessional and out of line with his comments, said we were too picky. During most of the day we were herded into one of the rooms not being painted and indicated that there would be a time for us to come out with our "magnifying glasses." Overall, the paint color was good, nomadic desert.

The job was terrible, paint on cabinets, floors, windows, window sills, scratched our expensive hardwood, didn't paint on top of lower window sills around transom windows, uneven painting and paint lines. Did not cover things as should have, also paint on items in rooms. Put on second coat before first coat dried.

Texted him the next day about our displeasure with the attitude and the job, he called back and talked down at us and argued and pretended it was a good job, I told him how he had treated us and he hung up the phone on me. He called back and talked to my co-owner and she ended up hanging up on him. His entire approach was so different from before and I told him that. He was in denial about everything. He said he could come back and touch up (usually only gives an hour) but after the emotional abuse we felt we had taken we did not want him back in our home. This was all a major disappointment and a total loss of $1650 as we had to hire another painter to correct their mistakes and redo the entire painting. We think we should get at least $1000 of the money back for the rushed and unacceptable job. Our neighbors and the new painting company can vouch for how bad the job was. They were not at all good at detail work.

They were very punctual and went the extra mile to make sure everything exceeded our expectations.
