Garage Service
We are currently about half-way through the project and have nothing but praise for the quality of work done and the competency and communication of the various crew members (including sub-contractors). The site was not an easy one to prepare, and they did an excellent job so that the water drains properly away from the house and garage.
Throughout this process, they were very in-tune to doing exactly what we wanted. The Nova brick, metal siding, roof, cupola, windows, and door were all installed with excellent workmanship, and in a timely manner, despite the rainy weather. Concern was shown repeatedly for our property, and care was taken not to damage it beyond what was absolutely necessary.
The plans for the building were carefully drawn up by our sales consultant, taking into consideration our specific needs. He used computer generated photos to illustrate our plan. They had a wide variety of plans and products from which to choose, and their goal was to customize the building to our needs. They were able to meet every request that we had. The wind rating of the building was tested by a pretty nasty storm while the building was partially constructed... it proved to be very, very solid.
The foreman of our job has been excellent, stating that he would insure the building be done as if he were doing it at his own home. They have also kept the area as clean as possible, using a dumpster to get rid of construction trash. Although our job is not completely done yet, it is far enough along that we are extremely pleased with the process of planning and the construction up to the point of pouring the concrete and adding the electricity, front porch, and garage doors. Although Morton Buildings are not inexpensive, we are getting a high quality product that is worth the expense, and have had the opportunity to work with excellent people. This has kept the frustration of construction to a minimum. We highly recommend them if you want to add a stand-alone garage or barn on your property. Their factory for this area is in Kenton, OH.
