CARPET NOOK

Ordered the carpet and the quality and installation of the carpet were alright, however, the kitchen laminate was not installed professionally. The laminate was not put all the way under the dishwasher, which resulted in the door closing of it being affected, as well as not being able to re-install the floor front "plate". The quarter round appears to have been installed by an amateur and is downright "embarrassing". I was promised over and over that they would start the job, only to be put off with tons of flimsy excuses. He would not even show up until 11:30 a.m. and when he did, he had one helper who did approx. 80% of the total work, while the owner, Bob, talked non stop about his aches and pains, or was on the cell phone with other customers. He would also tell me about "his other impending jobs" and how he needed my money to purchase THEIR materials! This was a two day job and was like "pulling teeth" to get through. On day two, after being here approx. three hours, he informed me he needed to leave to go pick up a check in a neighboring town. I told him in no uncertain way that I wanted MY job completed, and when I voiced this, his "helper" offered to stay to get the job done. My advice to anyone needing flooring.....stay away from this guy! I could of phoned him to come back to make "it right", however, I don't want this guy anywhere near my home again, so we'll have it corrected ourselves.
