Lawn Service, Snow Removal
$25
In general, we were pleased with his work despite some problems.  During the first mowing, a rose was cut down which we later found, but we told him we'd let go because it would grow back.  Sometime in the next year or two, we found that the mower broke a clay tile access for sewer cleaning, but we told him the cover was still fitting and the access looked better being more flush to the ground, so we requested no compensation either time..
The last time he came was was last year for snow plowing.  Later during nicer weather, we noticed that a corner piece for the siding had been ripped partly off.  A picture and, separately, a letter were sent asking him to please come to look at it.  We received no reply and we stopped asking for his services.  This year we saw him in our neighborhood and asked in person for him to look at the damage, which he did.  He explained that, in his opinion, his plow blade could not have done that type of damage and, of course, we had no proof that it did.  Whether it did or not, we are not using him due his not being up front about the damage he did cause and not volunteering to compensate us.
In addition, for two seasons we asked up to clean out trees that were growing in the rain gutters.  Each time he said he was waiting for the leaves to stop falling.  Neither time did he make it back in time.

Ted is the proprietor of the company. They are consistent, and if I have any request, they honor it. For example, I don?t think that the driveway needs to be done unless there are 2 inches of snow or more, and so they don?t really have to come out ever so often. They just come out when there are 2 inches of snow or more, and if it is 2 inches, I can count on that they are going to be there. They are also very neat, and they don?t leave any debris. I never would have thought of trimming where the ivy crawls over the driveway, and they always trim that up. It has saved me some effort. I think that their prices are very fair. I have been fortunate and they have really been very good.

They do very thorough work. Also, for a lawn clean-up, they bring a crew and get the job done very quickly. I like that I can count on them to clean my driveway in the winter very efficiently and quickly.
