We had Mike and his team out a few months back, and could not be happier with the improvements to our home, and the service we received. Below is the details of the work we had done. It was an absolute pleasure having Larry and his coworkers in our house everyday. They stayed in communication with us, worked very hard to stay on deadlines, kept our home very clean while it was a work area, and were so respectful of our home. Mike was great to work with in helping us make our vistion a reality and checked in often while work was going on. We had an 8ft large picture window installed where there was previously just a standard single window. The window and the wall they had to cut apart and put back together looks perfect. We added a kitchen island that has transformed cooking and storage in our space and looks like it was always meant to be there. We also had custom shelving made and installed in our living room that runs the length of the wall with our tv on it and frames it just as we had wanted. Lastly, we had an unsightly pole framed in wood to make it better match our finished basement. Practically everyday we comment on how awesome one of our new projects is.

Ohio Home Improvement recently completed a full remodel of the primary living areas in our home. The scope included a full kitchen renovation (including moving walls), installing new hardwood floors, new lighting, adding new entryways with pocket doors, window and base trim, and of course painting throughout. The results are nothing short of mind-blowing! Mike, the owner, was phenomenal to work with from day 1, helping us design and visualize exactly what we wanted, and needed, to turn our “house” into our “forever home”. He leads by example, with an honest and true desire to improve the lives of his customers, and treated us more like friends than clients. Once construction began, the amazing crew, led by our project manager, Shawn, showed up for work every day of the 3 month project on time and ready to go. They met with us daily to discuss progress and resolve any questions or concerns that came up throughout the course of the project. We were very impressed with the level of detail and thought that went into every decision made. They are true professionals and their craftsmanship is unmatched. We have worked with several different contractors in the past with varying degrees of success and satisfaction. But in OHI, we’re confident we’ve finally found our go-to contractors, and partners, for all future projects!

These guys are just amazing. I can’t even begin to express my gratitude for the work they did for us. Our project was not easy nor routine. They touched a project no one else would even call us back for to make our home safer and better. The owner was there every step of the way and put many hours and months of work and planning into our project. It was not easy and not short and they really pulled through. I would definitely recommend them for any of the jobs you have.

Mike and his company did a great job. He did a great job planning for the work. He helped us select all the items used. He has a great eye for selecting items that go well together. He was outstanding on helping us select our cabinets and then matching them with a granite counter top. It looks fantastic. We had several design issues from the original house build and Mike was able to solve every issue. If the cabinets and counter top were not enough he also helped us select the flooring. It was great and the instillation went great also. We have lived in the house for a year and it did change our life (which Mike will tell you for your project as well). We were glad to hire him again for a 2nd phase. He is doing a out door deck and roof with big beam construction.

The experience from start to finish has been excellent. Ohio Home Improvement exemplifies the definition of customer service. The project was quoted in complete detail and all work was done to scope. Don as the project manager went out of his way to keep me informed of progress. We ran into unexpected issues as happens with an older home. Don and Mike jumped right in to offer solutions and assist with correcting the problems. Don and Jared were professional, polite and clean up was done daily. I could not be happier with the results or the excellent service I received.

Everything went very well. Work was contained and cleaned up well at the end of each day. Masonry work on fireplaces look awesome! Love new handmade mantels. Don and Larry are great and am very impressed with their professionalism and the quality of their work. Mike, the owner, frequently checked in on the work and helped me choose all the stones, flooring and handrailing. Will definitely use again

The final result was absolutely awesome. The job was started on time and completed in 5 days with meticulous attention to detail. OHI is a superb company to work with and we trust no one else for work done inside and outside our home.

Ohio Home Improvement is a superior company. The team led by Mike, included Don, Larry, and Henry did a fantastic job. We now have a gorgeous walk in tile shower with a beautiful accent trim. New tile floor, vanity with granite top, toilet and cabinet. The team are very professional, conscientious of the work performed. The house was always left in good order. The men went above and beyond. Just love our new bathroom

I found Ohio Home Improvement on Angies list and reviewed the customer comments. They were excellent. Rob came to the house and presented great ideas for our project and explained the company culture and how they manage a project. He sold me. What I liked most about the company, there were no contractors only the employees. Don and Tim were our project team, with Don as our project manager. Noreen was the interior design specialist, They were all professional, courteous, and knowledgeable and were able to work around any obstacle to provide a solid resolution in a timely manner. They were fantastic, and our remodel is phenomenal. The owner, Mike, oversaw the project and cared about the details. I cannot say enough good things about this company except - I cannot wait to work with them on my next project.

Ohio Home Improvement did an extraordinary job with our recent home remodeling project. They completed our kitchen and bathroom renovation on time, within estimates and the results are beautiful, beyond our expectations. The integrity, commitment and professionalism of Mike and his whole team made the process as seamless and painless as one could possibly hope for. The assistance provided by their interior designer Noreen was invaluable and made the selection process of tile, cabinets, counter tops etc. much easier than we anticipated. Larry and Rob, the two craftsmen who installed the materials, were great. Both were helpful, professional and conscientious throughout the project and the quality of their workmanship was superb. The fact that they are all employees of the company and not sub-contractors gave us much more confidence when we were evaluating prospective home improvement contractors. To say we’re pleased with Ohio Home Improvement’s excellent work is an understatement. Based on our experience, we would confidently recommend them to our family, friends and neighbors.

Once again Mike and company did exceptional work. The tile installed by Don is beautiful and flawless. He had to rebuild the floor in the entry due to poor workmanship previously and took it in stride. Don also did a masterful job rebuilding part of our brick chimney a few years ago. OHI has done many inside remodeling jobs and outside projects for us over the years and we are thrilled with the quality of their work and work ethic. As long as they are around we won't try anyone else.

I can't possibly say enough nice things about Mike Eid (owner) and his crew. Sean the lead man on the projects went above and beyond. Everything came out better than expected. Everyone was punctual, professional and courteous. Mike's communication with me from start to finish was second to none. I knew exactly what was being done and exactly how much it cost. Absolutely no surprises. Mike Eid is not like any contractor I've ever met. HONEST to a fault. I am going to have Ohio Home Improvement come back to do both bathrooms and my kitchen.

Ohio Home Improvement is truly a company that treats you like family. They do work that they take pride in. That forms a relationship of trust with the customer because you can depend on the quality of their work to show in everything they do. Every part of our kitchen construction, flooring installation, painting, and bathroom installation was handled with professional knowledge and attention to detail. We worked with Rob to plan our kitchen layout and shop for flooring and countertops. He helped us choose a better product for our flooring and was able to make it work in our budget. He also helped us find the perfect granite countertop and tile backsplash to tie everything together. Our project covered the entire first floor of our house so we had a timeline of about 2 months worth of work. We were very happy to have the same crew work through the whole project. I am a stay at home mom with three kids, one being two years old. So we were in the house a lot during the construction. Our crew, Mike, Tim, Larry and our Renovation Specialist Rob worked with us to create exactly what we wanted. We were very happy that we knew who was coming each day and that we wouldn't be having different workers coming and going. The guys all communicated well with eachother and they spent time with me at the end of each day to review the work they did and the plan for the next day. If there was a problem with the material that was being installed I was alerted right away and our project manager made arrangements to have it replaced. We added some work to our original project because they earned our trust through the quality of their work. We knew that everything would be done to our specifications and with their professional experience. We expected the work to be done to perfection but we were still surprised a few times by the detail of the finish work. The trim around our kitchen island, the flow of the flooring from one room to the next, the baseboards throughout, the tile work, and the exact straight lines of the painted walls was exceptional. It was even better than how we pictured it would look! We started our project by looking for a construction company that would deliver on the promises they make about the quality of their work. We will work with Ohio Home Improvement every time because they back what they say they will do with their quality work

It was very very superior and they did a great job. The price of the service reflect on the quality of the work they've done, they are very punctual, one of the things that stand out is they are very professional.

Impeccable Workmanship. On a scale of 1 to 10, we would give Don a 50 on his attention to detail. I am very hard to please because I want everything exactly perfect and I have had several bad contractor experiences because their attention to detail was just not as sharp as my expectations. Ohio Home Improvement exceeded our expectations on their communication and attention to detail. I would definitely hire them again.

The project went fantastically—we could not be happier with our new living space. The project took our first house, which we were moderately happy with, and transformed it into something we absolutely love ourselves and love sharing with others. The work performed exceeded expectations, and Mike, Rob and their team were able to make recommendations on how to finish the project in ways that my wife and I never considered. All these recommendations relieved any stress we had around this space, as they were sure to work with us to accomplish exactly what we wanted.

They are amazing! All of the contractors were very professional and extremely friendly. They were always on time and let me know if they were ever going to be early or late. They gave us an amount in the beginning for cost and did not overcharge. We loved them so much they are now part of our circle of friends.

Grand slam! All the guys at Ohio Home Improvement knocked it out of the park again! Being our second project this year with them, we knew more what to expect going into it, but just like our first project, they completely outdid themselves. We had a love hate relationship with our master bedroom and bathroom, (no, really, we loved to hate it!) but between the design changes to maximize space and efficiency we worked on with Mike Eid, the demo completed by Don Kapper and Andrew, the reconstruction completed by Don and project management by Rob Wiesen, we now love these two spaces. The quality of Don’s workmanship is outstanding. Working with this team helps to restore your faith that there are good, honest and hardworking people in the world to partner with.

Don and Shawn are friendly, courteous and extremely professional. They did an outstanding job at our home. They were punctual and very considerate of caring for our home. Don and Shawn made sure that our rooms were better than before. They are expert painters, electrical workers, plumbers,... you name it, they can do it! After each days' work they were sure to clean up the rooms and their equipment. What impressed me the most was their safety measures and the concern they showed my elderly mother who lives here. I would say Don and Shawn went above and beyond. I will be sure to contact OHI again if I need more home improvement.

It all went better than expected. All the employees were professional. They love what they do. The customer service from all aspects were top of the line. I would call them again for any other service in my home.

We could not be happier with our decision to hire OHI for our remodeling projects! We purchased an older home that needed extensive work. Mike Ross was our project manager on the first phase of our work, and we requested him back for the remainder of our projects. He takes great pride in his work and makes sure it is all done right. Shawn was the other main guy on the team and he was great, too. They were both a pleasure to have in my home every day and very approachable with questions or concerns. We are going to be tackling the Master Bedroom and Bath next, and I will not hesitate to call OHI for the work.

Excellent. Communication is very important to me and they did not disappoint. They do it all - I don't need to call 4 different people to coordinate the job. Mike was on top of everthing, making my life easier. Everything was done professionally and in a timely manner. They cleaned up every day when they were done and everything looks AMAZING. I will definitely call on them again in the future when I am in need of services.
