we would definitely recommend JBL. We had our roof replaced as well and had sky light windows installed new gutters. Kyle and crew did an amazing job! Our home looks beautiful! Thank you Kyle you were extremely helpful and always available! Thank you again!

There is so much wrong about how JBL Roofing & Construction, Inc., does business, that it’s really extremely unprofessional. When you buy a roof, it is an enormous investment of money, so you want to make sure you hire the best company who will install your roof properly and behave in ways that give you confidence in them as competent professionals you can trust. I want you to know from my personal experience, JBL Roofing & Construction, Inc., is not that business. I strongly urge you to not invest your time or money with these people. There is not enough space to give you every detail of my horrific experience with this company, but here are some key issues I had: • I was told the job would begin on October 19, and I would receive a call from their project manager two weeks before the job was to be done to confirm the date and to let me know when I would receive the roofing materials. I never received a call from anyone. Ryan Sanders, the project manager, did not contact me at all. I ended up calling him when Quincy Johnson, my sales representative, gave me his number. • When the truck arrived with the materials, I noticed they were putting all the materials on the house roof, so I asked the man in charge why they were putting the roofing materials for the garage on the house roof? He looked surprised and checked his paperwork. He told me they asked for everything to be put on the house roof. I would find out later that JBL Roofing & Construction did NOT order materials for the garage roof at all. • On multiple dates, JBL did not show up or call to say they weren’t coming and reschedule. If I didn’t contact them, I would not hear from them at all. • Once the roof on the house was completed, I came out to look at it and noticed a section of the front roof was clearly bubbled, and when I asked why it was not flat, I was told that when it warmed up in the spring, the heat from the sun would flatten the shingles out. • When the crew finally arrived, I went outside to inquire why they weren’t also working on the garage roof. The manager said they were not told to do the garage, just the house. I came back inside and called Matt Lewis, the owner. Matt told me the crew would be back the next day to do the garage roof because they didn’t have the materials to do the roof. Matt had to drive to Erie, Pennsylvania, to get the supplies for the garage roof because they weren’t ordered!? • I called JBL in April 2021 about the roof bubbling because of course, the bubbling had nothing to do with the sun as I was told in October. I took pictures and video of the bubbling and sent them to JBL after speaking to their secretary. She told me someone would get back to me. • I called JBL back because no one called me back. The secretary said she sent me an email, which she did not. She then sent me an email thanking me for the video. She said someone would take care of it, and it would take some time to coordinate. But they would get my issue resolved. • I had no further communication with JBL Roofing & Construction, Inc.. until I received an email from Ryan Sanders on June 7, 2021, reminding me that my job was scheduled to be done. No date. No time. No phone call to notify or see when I was available. • On June 8-9, 2021, I received an email from Quincy Johnson stating my job was scheduled for June 11, 2021 at 3:30 pm. Again, no phone call or contact with me. • On June 11, 2021, the day JBL scheduled, no one came to do a job. No one called to say they weren’t coming. No one called to reschedule. As of June 18, 2021 today, exactly a week after the job was scheduled, I have not heard from JBL Roofing & Construction, Inc. Spend your hard-earned money on a roofing company that can stand behind their work and who shows respect and appreciation for their customers by communicating properly, professionally completing work in a timely fashion, and respecting their customers and their time. JBL Roofing & Construction, Inc., did none of that in my case, and I do not recommend anyone do business with them for the reasons stated above.

They did a very good job. Chris oversaw the project and he was fantastic. There were a couple of little issues but they came back and took care of them. I would definitely hire them again and I would recommend them as well.

Best contractor experience we have ever had. Our salesman, Shannon Wright was incredible. Extremely efficient, knowledgeable and trustworthy. He kept us informed every step of the way. He answered any questions very promptly. It was a pleasure working with him. Can't say enough about him! The crew was also excellent. They clearly knew what they were doing. Completed the job in one day. No mess or cleanup to deal with. They paid attention to every detail . We are extremely particular and very happy with the job, communication and total experience. Highly recommend these guys!

JBL did a great job on our roof. They performed a complete tear off of our old roof and replaced our roof using high grade 40 year shingles. Our home is approximately 3000 sq ft and 2 stories. JBL worked well with our insurance company, so our claim for wind damage was approved promptly.

A few delays - weather/other customers set the timeline back. Also had to recall the workers to re-do some areas that weren't done correctly, but all-in-all, the company finished the job per our specifications and did so at the price quoted.

all John D. the salesman was very patient with both my wife and I. My wife choosing colors and myself with the payment grid I wanted to use. They started the job when promised. They finished the job once started in (2) days. Through out the two days any questions, and changes we decided on were instantly done. No call backs on any of their work. A pleasure to do business with. I had reservations after reading some reviews and John D. explained that was from one salesman that is no longer with the company because he did not return phone calls quickly. This was not the case at all with me. They were very professional every step along the way. They gave me a list of (6) satisfied customers that I checked on and all were good jobs. I would recommend the company to anyone, but use John D. as your contact.

They refused to give us an estimate, saying they'd do the job for the amount of the insurance check. Then Sales Rep #1 said he'd come when the Insurance adjustor was coming but sent Sales Rep #2 instead. We were given different information from both Reps. We signed a contract with the company. They promised they'd call within a few days to give us a roof installation date and they promised that it would not be scheduled for the 5-day period I would be out of state. I wanted to be home. We never got a call with a date and had to keep calling them. Well about 2 weeks later, the roofers just showed up one hour prior to my having to catch my plane. They did the job while I was away. A friend of mine had to rearrange her work schedule so someone could make sure they did the correct work. They did not seem to know exactly what they were supposed to do despite having all the completed paperwork. ie they were not going to put new roof on one section of the home that they were supposed to. Then when it drizzled lightly for less than an hour they left and didn't return until the next day, causing my friend to have to rearrange her schedule again. Causing her loss of work. When it supposed to be done while I was home (I work at home). Same thing with the gutters, we were supposed to be given a time/date for installation and were not. Then after the work was done, upon close inspection of our home we discovered many, many grease-like stains on our nice vinyl siding! We could not scrub them off. We even pressure washed our entire home and the marks did not come off. The roofers did not properly dispose of 'junk' and clean as they went. We also found multiple large staples throughout the yard and even found a saw blade!! When we went into our large walk-about attic we were shocked! It was/still is in total mess - ie literally COVERED with dust and debris that had fallen through the roof! Also large staples! We were never told of a potential disaster INSIDE the home. We were told later that they didn't know we had an attic! And then we made multiple phone calls - in excess of 10 to 15 where we either did not receive a call back or we got a promise they'd be back to clean at a certain time and they never showed up. Three times they never showed up! The sales Rep #1 actually personally came back himself to clean the stains off the siding of my home. Thank goodness they came off. The only times we ever heard from this company promptly is when it came time to collect their money. Overall they were nice and friendly and helpful but ONLY until they got a signed contract from us and a check and then only again when they wanted the 2nd/final check.

I would recommend JBL to anyone with a concrete project without any hesitation. I had a vision of what I wanted, but Jason and his men implemented it to perfection. I received a call the same day. Jason came out and gave me what I consider to be a fair estimate. I had received bids from others that were as much as 3 times as much. Within a couple days JBL came out and did the work quickly and professionally. The work was all within the same day except for the cuts which were made the next day. They applied a finish that is very beautiful. They left no debris behind, and went above and beyond. In fact they cheerfully moved two piles of bricks that were in the way of the drainage pipe, and cut down some small weed trees. They also moved a pile of topsoil that was at the end of the driveway, and spread it across my lawn. I was overwhelmed.
