I want to give a shout out to Greer Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. In Kent Ohio. I called a not to be named other company and they gave me a line of BS. Called Greer and got an honest tech that fixed the issue in 30 mins for literally 90% cheaper than the other. They have a customer for life.

The owner of the company made an emergency repair of my old furnace on a cold Sunday morning for a very minimal charge. I asked him for a quote at that time for a new two stage furnace and air conditioner. He took measurements and sent me a quote a couple of days later. I thought it was a great price and asked them to do it.
He scheduled it and informed me that they would begin work at 8:30 am. They arrived on-time and completed the entire installation in about 4 hours. The crew was extremely professional and courteous. They had to do a lot of extra piping work since they were replacing my old 80% furnace with a new 96% efficient model. They installed a new thermostat at no additional charge. 
The entire experience was extremely gratifying. The crew took extreme care to lay down tarps on my floors and left the place cleaner than when they arrived. 
I could not be happier!!! We absolutely love our new Goodman Furnace. You can't even hear it run and it maintains a comfort level we never before experienced. The 10 year warranty on all parts and lifetime on the heat exchanger is about as good as it can get.

Installation went perfect.

Wonderful....great service all around. Took a while to get to us, mainly because they are so busy. We had to wait a few weeks before we could them to us, but we also cancelled an appointment before the hot weather hit due to a work conflict.
Cleaned up after themselves, explained everything to us and what they were doing. Very professional, will use them every time!

Came out on an emergency basis within thirty minutes, and were gone with complete success within an hour of my call. Extremely friendly and trustworthy.

Their service was prompt at a really good price. They had also provided some emergency heating work for my father-in-law, after a competitor had shut down the furnace in the dead of winter.

I have not found anyone better than them for service and pricing. My father in law, who lives about 7 miles from me, wanted to ensure his furnace was good enough and contacted one of the big advertisers in the Akron area. It was a cold winter and the furnace was going so he came and checked it out for about 20 minutes and then shut it off. He said it was dangerous and had to replace it. He then gave him a price of $5000 to $6000 to replace it. My father in law then called me up, as he was upset and felt it was abrupt. I sent Greer there and they opened it up and advised that nobody had opened up the unit, so they wouldn't know how bad it was. There was a little crack and he said almost all furnaces have a crack at this stage, but what matters is what size cracks they are, because I couldn't get a finger nail in it from the outside. He advised we need to look at it from inside and opened the same. He then informed that the furnace was fine and turned it back on and that was it. The furnace was fine and it was a $35 service call. When I replaced the furnace in my house they were the best. They came out, did in the exact amount of time they said they were going to do and showed up when they were supposed to show up. They responded very quickly and it was just a service call. He told him that it would run another 5 years and later put it on a list to get a more efficient one. My brother in law then did the same after 2 years. I will use them in future and have used them on my rental property. They don't charge too little, but others charge too much.

David was wonderful to deal with. Our home is very old, built in 1888 with additions later, and David was able to work within the constraints of the old walls. He was honest about the ability to heat and cool a third floor 100% of the time, but looked at all of our options for using our current system rather than add a separate system for the 3rd floor. The job cost less than his estimate and he told me that if that was the case he would only charge what it actually cost him. He also added two new digital thermostats. A pleasure to work with and refreshingly honest. I will most certainly call him for all of my A/C and heating needs.
