Budget Blinds

One of the best Angie's List experiences I've had.

They did a fine job. It took them 1.5 hours to put the blinds in, and it took a month for them to come in after we ordered them. They actually brought the wrong blinds and we had to replace them. They were very accommodating in replacing those blinds.

stephanie was punctual and knowledgable about sample products; she advised a particular brand and it turned out to be great!
the installation went without a hitch; installer was also punctual and curteous.
so far the blinds are doing what they were intended to do!

Stefanie is personable, friendly and really knows her stuff. She gave us a great deal and offered thoughtful suggestions to fit our needs. She made the whole process easy and comfortable. The blinds were installed during the time rame that was promised and Stefanie kept in touch with us during the ordering process. We highly recommend Stefanie and Budget Blinds, both for the quality of the product and the wonderful service that is provided.

Stephanie, the owner, came out to bring samples and measure. She said the blinds would be ready in three weeks and they were. The installer came within a day or so and did a great job installing the blinds and valances in what seemed to be no time at all. He offered to remove his shoes which I told him not to do because we were in the process of remodeling and there was no carpet. We were so happy with these blinds, the service provided by Stephanie and the installer that we today ordered four more window blinds plus vertical blinds for a sliding glass door.

Stefanie Thiesssen, the owner of Budget Blinds of Hudson, arrived right on time for my in-home consultation and had a large variety of samples in different prices ranges for me to choose from. It was also great to be able to hold sample slats up against the wall to see which color looked best with the color of my walls. After pricing similar blinds at the top two online websites, I decided the somewhat higher total cost of about $120 was well worth it because of BB's repair/replacement program and because the cost includes installation. (Budget Blind's installer, Chris, also arrived right on time 2 weeks later and he did a much better and faster job of installing my blinds than I would have.) Also, in comparing these blinds to the 2" faux wood routeless blinds in my bedroom that I did purchase online, I think my new blinds are a better quality and the open/close and up/down mechanisms seem to be a bit sturdier. (NOTE: Routeless blinds cost a little more but since this feature allows you to easily remove any or all slats for cleaning or replacement, I wouldn't consider any other kind.) When the time comes for me to replace more of my micro blinds in other windows in my home, Budget Blinds of Hudson will definitely be my supplier of choice.
