We had a very large tree (maybe 70’) that needed to be taken down near a fence in our backyard, along with various other work. Safe Tech had a large crew come in and they did a great job with it, ultimately grinding the stumps and taking away the remains before we were done. We would definitely use them again!

Awesome! I specifically make an effort to find someone in Johnstown or locally and they did not disappoint. Dave and Jason came to give an estimate. Prompt, clear and provided some great insight related to the trees and the removal process. They clearly knew what they were talking about. They came later in the week with five trucks to take care of the nine trees that required removal. Before they ground the tree stumps, they checked with OUPS to ensure they would not hit cables and things. Very tidy clean up. Great value and would definitely use them again.

Dave and his crew did an excellent job removing these large trees which had become very dangerous. They cut the wood to our specifications. Placed the wood where we requested. They even came back the next morning repaired and seeded the area in our yard where the large equipment had created deep ruts. I can't say enough good things about this crew. Hard workers, very courteous. Highly recommended.

I have been using them for at least 10 years. They are reasonably priced, clean up after they are done, treat your property with respect, and are prompt.

Tree was downed with no damage to any of the other trees on our property - including my wife's prize Buckeye tree.

We had a large dead Ash tree on our property that was a safety hazard and needed to be taken down.  We put it off a long time because of the cost but it reached a point that it needed to come down.  We would have 3-4 people a week stop and give us cards, wanting to cut it down for us.  We didn't use any of those people.  We contacted two companies for estimates but the first person we contacted couldn't get to us for a couple of weeks so they recommended we contact Dave at Safe Tech.  Dave come and was very personable and professional.  He gave us an estimate as did the second company.  The second company was cheaper, but we liked Dave so we asked if he would meet their price and he agreed.
 Dave and his crew showed up with their equipment on a Thursday afternoon.  The three man crew went to work taking great care not to damage our lawn.  They used plywood to lay on the grass and drive their equipment on, so that there would be minimal damage.  The crew was very professional and worked efficiently to bring down the tree.  They cleaned the yard very well.  They chopped up and removed the small/medium limbs and cut the large limbs into 3-4 foot pieces and stacked them where we asked.  The hauled the trunk away.
By nightfall the tree was gone, the wood was stacked and our yard was in great shape.  They did such a great job that we threw in some extra money when it was time to pay.  We will use Safe Tech again and we highly recommend them.

It went very well.  They took special care of the lawn to not leave any divets or dents in it by using a large amount of ply wood covering and then the cherry picker and cutter worked to systemically remove the large branches and then the main trunk.
It took most of the day, but that was to be expected.

Safe Tech Tree Service responded to phone calls in a timely manner and all work performed was completed on time.  They arrived at 8:15 am on morning promised to start cutting down the 53 cypress trees.  All the trees were cut down, chipped and hauled away by by 4:00 pm.  Safe Tech's chipper was large enough that the whole 20 foot tree could be put in and chipped without any problems.  The workers were very professional and efficient at their work.  They made sure no debris was in the neighbors yard and the road was completed cleaned before leaving. 
The next day the stump grinder arrived at 10:15 am and and all 53 stumps were ground and holes filled in by 2:00 pm.  Again any debris was cleaned from neighbors yard and driveway before he left.
