Terrible. I told him once he was done with the roof that if he was unsure on how to do the gutters to please let me know, but he assured me he has done this many times before. Once the job was complete, I noticed that the gutters were not catching any of the rain. The gutters are not flush against my home and water is running down behind the actual gutter. I currently have buckets to catch all the water that the gutters missed. I have tried several times to contact him to get this issue correct, but he never responds to me. I've reported him to the BBB and I would never recommend him to anyone else.

The contractors (5) arrived promptly at 7 a.m. with a 14-ft. dump truck. Around noon it started sprinkling, so the men covered the entire roof with tarps and ate their lunch for about 1/2 hour until the rain stopped. They finished up around 5 pm, and used a magnet roller to pick up any loose nails. All the work was completed in one day, and the property was left clean and uncluttered. The price was half that of other estimates, and the job went better than I would ever have expected.
They also left us two bundles of extra shingles. Normally you have to ASK for shingles, and the contractor will only give you a few. But they said "we ordered 40 but only used 38, so they're yours."
NOTE: The Angie's List member filling out this online survey was NOT the roofing customer. The customers were my 83-year-old aunt and uncle, and I used Angie's List to find this contractor for them. I interviewed them last weekend (using a print-out of this survey), and the ratings and comments are theirs. They were extremely happy with this company, and are pleased to recommend them!

The other quotes I received were twice what Jacob quoted. He was recommended by a friend, but checked Angie's List too. He and his crew were booked for the next six weeks, but there was not emergency. He came when he was supposed to, with a crew of five on a very hot day. They worked the whole day, but due to the holiday weekend they didn't finish until the 4th day, which was fine. 

The crew was very nice and professional. The work was good. The original quote was a bit over $8500, final price 8792. Extra was for increase in plywood costs, but also because of the extra work I had them do (solar light tubes, a fan vent). 

Very happy with the work and people. Would use them again.

I know my parents were satisfied with what he did. He was very good. He did quality work. They were very pleased. They had to do a follow up with him. He responded to their followup. It was a small thing he missed, just closing a gap and some alignment on their porch. He followed up, came out and did a good job. They would use his services again in the future.

Jacob was very easy to work with. He was on time and completed the work as he said he would. Weather was somewhat of an issue but the job got done! We were very pleased with how co-operative he was as well as the quality of the work that was done.

Jacob was recommended by some friends. He came out and quickly did a written estimate. He was by far the least the expensive out of 5 estimates. The weather was a factor throughout, but Jacob communicated with us at all times about status. He started one day late because weather delayed his current job. He called whenever the weather interfered with the work. The number of work days he estimated were right on. There were a couple of items he could have cleaned up better, but nothing major. In fact, I have only found one nail total since the job was completed.
