 + -1 moreWe contacted Tim MacGregor to help us with our house construction using structural insulated panels (SIPs) and learned he could also help us with installing the floor system, windows, exterior doors, roofing, porch/deck, garage, interior walls, siding and electrical. I must add that too many variables came up (such as added work, equipment rental, etc.) that would effect the overall price either way - so the stated project cost cannot be completely accurate. As of this writing, we are about 2/3 finished with the building process, and installing the final electrical fixtures is one of the last jobs Tim will complete. We think it is safe to assume he'll do as great a job as he has on the first part of the project. Tim's experience, knowledge and skills have been invaluable in many ways - such as coming up with solutions to design dilemmas during. Our relationship with Home & Hearth was personable and allowed for flexibility in decisions throughout the building process.
Description of Work: Tim's crew installed our home's floor system, the Structural Insulated Panel shell of our house and garage, all windows and exterior doors, the roofing, the interior walls and the electric. Tim also personally provided code details for the house plans for the county's approval; helped us obtain good pricing on materials; made design suggestions; offered advice on placement of items typically in a house; reminded us of when things needed to be considered or purchased.
