They are excellent. They are the kind of guys that tell you that you do not need to do that and you can still hold on for another six months.

Bill, Casey and crew spent almost an entire day trying to diagnose the symptom and fixed a problem that another less expensive mechanic couldn't resolve. They only charged me for one or two hours of labor plus the cost of the new sensor/part that turned out to be the problem.

I have been taking cars and trucks to Bill, Casey and Dave since they came to Hudson in the 70's. I trust them completely. Every time I try to save a few bucks going elsewhere it always turns out to be a mistake.

A case in point was a few years ago when I went to a nearby National tire chain down the road for a dead battery. That other place sold me a new battery and tried to sell me a new alternator claiming it was shot.. I took it to Hudson Auto Parts and Service to do the work and was told the alternator was fine, was not charged for the work and it is still good ten years later.

They are not the absolute cheapest out there but are certainly competitively/reasonably priced and they are simply the BEST! Over that time they have probably saved me hundreds if not thousands of dollars in unnecessary or poorly performed parts repairs or maintenance and will answer every question or offer good advice.. On several occasions they have installed a part or done a simple fix on the spot, I will not go anywhere else for anything other than maybe a routine oil change or tire rotation when short on time.

I recently learned that they are also supportive of the local school's vocational (Six District Compact) auto program in Hudson and are a good community citizen.

These folks have the highest integrity and honesty of any servicer I have ever dealt with. I hope they never retire but have always been very impressed the attitude and capability of the guys they have brought in to work in their shop with them over the years.

Not once in 40 years have they ever misled me or tried to sell me anything I didn't need. They are extremely accommodating straight shooters, deliver when promised, and get the job done right the first time every time. Just genuine terrific regular guys!

The tire wasn't sealed properly on the rim. They took it off, cleaned it up and resealed it. I have used them for 20 years and I would give them a high rating. They are very knowledgable and thorough. This is a family business that has been in operation for 35 years. The service is good and the prices are reasonable and they stand behind their work. They work on all of the major makes of vehicles.

For 18 years, Dave, Casey, Bill have maintained my vehicles on a regular basis. I have been very satisfied. Recently,
they've taken on training a younger generation and I am equally pleased with the work.

Employees were courteous and professional, and began working on the vehicle immediately upon my arrival. Work was performed promptly.

They are nice people and everything, but in the end they could not find out what was wrong with the car. I would probably not use them again.

Family owned business; the Liska brothers are honest about the car's problems and what it needs, they have more than fair prices for any repair; I have taken my family cars x 5 there for years. My neighbors finally went to Hudson Auto after dealing with dealerships for repairs and couldn't believe the difference. Even if the price was close, the work done and the explanation is far superior. They are also very honest if they feel it is something that they cannot perform and will then recommend what should be done and offer places to take your vehicle.

Called and spoke with one of owners, booked appointment about three days in advance, bought car in to be checked at 8 a.m, was called with report and price at 10ish and work was completed shortly thereafter. Nice people, great location in town, been in business for years. Hudson's secret is that we should keep to ourselves so the next time we call, we can get our cars done lol!

I took my 97 Camry to Hudson Auto because it needed an oil change, and I could hear a woop, woop noise, and the car just wasn't driving as well as it always had. Dave at Hudson Auto called to tell me the car needed 4 new tires. The rear tires were cupped, and one had a broken belt (causing the woop, woop sound). My front pads and rotors had 80% wear. Dave suggested I could wait another 5-6K miles before taking care of the brakes, but as that would have been near the Christmas holidays, I opted to take care of everything at once. The new tires cost $368, and the brakes were $280. My husband and I thought it was a fair price. Minutes after I picked up the car, I heard the sound of scraping metal coming from the right front brake. I drove right back to the shop, and Dave offered to adjust the brake shield immediately.

Casey, Dave, Bill Liska, and their employees are knowledgeable, friendly, understanding, honest and skilled mechanics. If you bring in a vehicle with a problem, they will take the time to listen and understand you in order to help diagnose the problem. They will not charge for something they can not do. Our family has a history of buying new vehicles and keeping them for over 100,000 miles. Hudson Auto has gone out of their way to guarantee the performance, safety and longevity of each of our vehicles. They are prompt, reliable, and trustworthy. I can't say enough about the quality of service they provide. Most of our neighbors use them as well. I'm surprised that they haven't been reviewed by someone before now.
