I required an Estimate for renovation/repairs for water damaged house. Communicated with owner of Company H-2 Remodeling, Mr. Stephen Horton who said he would do a quote for an agreed price of $200.00 but I had to wait for one or two weeks as he was working on a Lakeside project. In the meantime I sent pictures of the interior of house showing some of the damage that needed estimate for. I then sent the lock Box Code to access house key and waited until the second week (Oct 09, 2018, 9:54amEST Cleveland Tuesday) and called to request how close he was to visiting property. He answered right away and said that he had visited the property the evening before and would have a Quote to sent out by the following Thursday or so. I wished him Happy Thanksgiving from Canada our thanksgiving was a month before USA Thanksgiving. He said that was "Cool". I waited until Oct 13 & 14 and called, left msg and re-called 7 times during the Sat/Sun weekend. I called several times later in the month but Mr. Horton would not answer my calls. Because I depended on the Quote to carry on my business agenda, I reluctantly concluded that Mr. Horton abandoned his commitment to me but did not have sufficient professionalism to respond to his contract to prepare a Quote. I tried calling Mr. Horton on Nov 14. 2018 using my partner's phone and not recognizing the num,ber as my telephone number, Mr. Horton answered. I identified myself and asked why he never called about the Quote he was supposed to prepare? And then, adding insult to injury, he said that "....he just never got around to it..." and hung up in my ear. I imagine, based on his unprofessional conduct that his workmanship would more likely than not be as shoddy as his attitude and I can only hope that "H-2 Remodeling" and "Mr. Stephen Horton" does not give Angie's List a diminished reputation because by his conduct that was unbecoming of a Company seeking customers through Angie's List by peddling questionable wares while disregarding ordinary and expected, ethical business practices. He had previously said when we struck a bargain that I could send him the Quote Fee of $200.00 when he sent the Quote and I agree to pay him immediately on receipt of the Quote and Invoice. I did not make an advance payment for the Quote. I can be thankful that this haphazard dictate of unfortunate chance did not cost me more than month setback.

I got a schedule for them to give an estimate today and they never show up, not even a phone call to advise why they are not coming.
