Overall it was a very good experience.  Candace helped us see things we never would have on our own.  She's got a good eye and is very pleasant to work with.

Candace met with us for a 1 hour free consultation in her studio. Then she came to our new house in Hudson to begin helping us with early design decisions. I was pleasantly surprised that she didn't recommend changes to everything, like what we often see designers do on HGTV. Candace focused on the particular questions we had and sometimes indicated that the current style was great. Candace has an easy manner and classic taste. I believe her recommendations will keep our home looking up to date for many years. We plan to use her services many times in the future (we have a running "Ask Candace" list - when that list is full, we call Candace for another consult).

Candace is very knowledgeable and had great ideas. Paid her by the hour for her expertise, creativity and creating plan drawings. We can now find the best builder, shop for the best deals on hardware, and get exactly what we want.

I asked Candace to complete two different space plans since we were not sure what our final goal would be. One that rearranged my first floor (kitchen/dining room/ formal living room/ foyer/ breakfast nook) to get me a larger kitchen, new mudroom, and more family friendly space. The other was an addition for an in-law suite/master bedroom. She completed both within two weeks, which is when she estimated, and did a great job on both. We met three time overall; one free consultation, one trip to measure and photograph my space, and one trip to go over the plans. We have not decided what we are doing yet, but if we go forward on either of these projects, we would use her again for interior decoration decisions. She charges $90 per hour.

I was pleased with the ideas and alternatives that Candace had. I wanted to see how to brighten a dark kitchen and get professional input on colors and lighting before making expensive purchases. Even though I wasn't hiring Candace to the work, she was extremely helpful in reviewing options.

She was very easy to work with, very knowledgeable, on time always, we had no problems at all and it was a delightful experience.

Candace was very welcoming and personable. She listened to our ideas and followed up promptly and thoroughly. We met about every two weeks over a three month period to create drawings of the new fireplace, bar, and kitchen. She had drawings prepared in advance for each meeting and made the project very easy for us and for our contractor. She was attentive, creative, flexible, and professional throughout the process. We will definitely use her again and recommend her to others. She was also generous with her time and more than reasonable in her application of her hourly rate.

SHE WENT ABOUT USING THE ITEMS I ALREADY HAD AND ONLY ADDED A FEW TO MAKE EVERYTHING COZY AND NICE. SHE EVEN CAME TO THE HOUSE AND HUNG MY PICTURES FOR ME AT NO EXTRA CHARGE.
