Robert & Junior Asphalt Paving & Sealing

They re-paved half of my driveway because that was all they had with them that day. It was very expensive and they did a terrible job. It was supposed to be 3 inches but was not. 2 days later, grass started growing up through it. It was not rolled out smooth, had many rough spots like the asphalt had cooled too much to roll out. It is very uneven, with large areas where water collects. They even applied asphalt over a large pine cone, which left an area where there basically is no asphalt, and it is raised up there. Worst of all though, when I called back about the grass growing up through in a lot of locations, he said he would come look at it, but of course, never did. This guy Robert wouldn't even accept a check! I had to drive about 8 miles away to the bank, while he followed me, just to get him $3500 in cash! WTH? Why is someone based in Ohio even working in central Arkansas? The whole thing is just fishy.

I had someone put Asphalt on the end of my driveway and they ended up putting a big bump there. I called Robert. He came out the same day to give me an estimate. He came back three days later repaired it and paved my driveway. He did a wonderful job. I would recommend him to anyone.

Misleading sales Poor quality

I had my driveway and back lot re-asphalted earlier this year by Robert & Junior asphalt. My partner found them through angi as we were looking for contractors, and we were a bit surprised when they showed up unannounced to give a quote, although this seems to be a misunderstanding with how angi works between customers and contractors rather than any fault of Robert & Junior. He offered us a discounted rate to do the work the next morning as his crew and materials were already in the area, and overall did great work. The new asphalt was laid quickly and well packed, and they did all the work of clearing overgrown plants/weeds that were in the way of the paved area for us. The edges of the paved area are a little rough, but there is no retaining wall or structure on my property for these areas so that is to be expected. Job cleanup wasn't perfect, but was very acceptable, and they were respectful of the space. Would recommend, especially if you need an asphalt job done on short notice.

Excellent communication. Came right out. Just called yesterday. Junior did the work. Great guy. I wasnt home at first but he was cleaning the driveway when I got back home. I had went to get the cash to pay him. I ran a few quick errands. I had my phone if he needed to call. Great job - sealer in a hose from truck mount. Glad I found someone. Thanks!

Sealed my 400 ft driveway yesterday. Looks good so far. Very polite and patient had to wait for my wife to get back from the store to finish the job. Some of the spray will get on the grass, but the grass does grow out. Thanks you guys. God bless.

I felt he was overpriced by about twice what he should have charged for such a small driveway. He did not do a good job. He poured the sealant all over grass and some debris that was on the driveway was sealed in. Ne we need to redo it.

Mr. Jeffrey was prompt and efficient with the work. He answered questions and explained the process. The driveway looks nice.

I had a small issue that I brought to their attention. He promised to take care of it as soon as the weather permitted. They did the job on Thursday, I called after it dried on Friday with my concern; they resolved it on Monday. Robert and his son do a great job, AND stand behind it!
