We had a problem with standing water every Spring which lasted into the early Summer. Couldn't get a lawn mower back there until it dried up in July. Brad's Lawn Service (Hinckley) put in drainage pipes which worked beautifully! Now the dogs can go back there and not track mud into the house. The price was much lower than I ever thought and the work was completed over a two day period. Brad let me know what was happening every step of the way. We also use Brad's for snow plowing. I never have to wonder when he's going to get my driveway cleared--it just is! I highly recommend Brad's Lawn Service.

Initial quote was more detailed than any others, prompt meeting, seemed knowledgeable. Company did not show up in May when agreed, when there were 6 days of no rain after the date he had agreed to show up. He could have rock hounded and completed with no issue. Despite our attempts there was no contact for ten days and only answered phone when we drove to location. We don't know if he saw us parked outside or a complete coincidence. While it was a rainy spring and summer, if they had shown up when agreed, the job would have been done and many issues avoided. Same soil for amending the lawn was used for beds, so it is not what we expected for flower bed soil, spending a great deal of time dealing with that, moving soil to different areas that they did not finish (mainly because they were just trying to get out of there in light of continued rain we suppose). Follow up fertilizer same thing, no communication about it, we wound up doing it, only to have a worker show up, not tell us he was there and we happened to be home and see him in back yard. If we had not the yard would have been likely burned by too much fertilizer. Quality of work was acceptable in most areas, would have been better if had done it on time, workers were polite.

In just several weeks, once they didn't show up at all and skipped an entire week. TAB said they had to skip a week due to rain earlier in the week. My neighbors' lawn services all showed up and mowed, trimmed and edged their laws without a problem.
Another week, they didn't show up at all. TAB said they had staffing issues and trying to find good help was difficult.
The last time they were here, one of the mowers, who TAB explained was fired, did the worst hatch job on our lawn. The grass was cut very unevenly with some areas skipped completely. The trimming job was skipped. The mower who TAB said was fired stood at the end of our drive with his blower and blew mulch, dead grass and leaves so hard against our house and porch it stuck under our siding and left a mess all over our drive, walkway and garage door. No one came to clean it up.
We fired the service. TAB explained he hired another crew, but after weeks of poor service, we had to go with a professional, responsive, higher-quality service. We just couldn't depend on Brad's Lawn Service after weeks of poor service.

I gave them a call and left a message. They called me back after an hour. They were very polite and courteous over the phone. They said they could come out that day an did. The work is satisfactory.
