Zippy Shell Greater Columbus

So, so, just okay.

This is an excellent company - very responsive and competitively priced. They drop of and pickup trailer, giving you a couple days to load before they come back and pick-up for storage. Very professional, very very helpful. They were on time, very polite. They even helped unload my furniture at no cost to me due to a mix up in scheduling. They were very easy to work with! I highly recommend.

Professional and quick. They worked around my schedule. I am very satisfied.

We are actually currently using them. I don't know that much about the pricing there's not that many of them around. It's a pod; they bring it to your house put it in the driveway and you load it up. Then they come and take it back and store it.

Affordable storage. 

The only surprise that we had, was they charged us a drop off fee. I thought it was included but I guess there was a drop off fee. They load it up and put it in their warehouse, and then when you want them to drop it off they charge you the drop off fee. It was probably in our contract but we probably forgot about it, that's all. 

They were A's across the board. I would definitely use them.

The service was fast and very professional. We even had them make a last minute adjustment on our old couch and rug as they were getting into their truck, and they came back in with no complaints. Great service.

The team at Zippy Shell far exceeded all expectations I had of a storage company. Dave made you feel like a friend and was very helpful and flexible about delivery times. The driver who dropped off my storage pod was beyond helpful. Since he did not have have any deliveries for the next hour he helped me and my friends unload my pod and put the items in my new place. The whole process took just about 20 minutes. I definitely recommend this company and am very appreciative.

We had excellent service with Zippy. Dave, the owner, personally answered our questions and oversaw the move.

Everything went great. Right on time, very friendly and even pulled my "shell" as I need to access some paperwork while it was in the warehouse. We are using Zippy Shell again next week to do the full move out and store until our new house is ready to move in to. They even wrap your stuff so it won't get dusty while in the warehouse!

Fair- we could have used the shell a few more days (a weekend would have been nice!), but the shell was needed elsewhere and David had to pick it up after 48 hours. My husband and I still work and coming home from work to pack up the shell during the work week was not the most desirable.

They were efficient, helpful with tips and very courteous!  They provided updates when there was a delay and were very punctual when stating pick up or delivery time frames.

I wish we had done a home inspection first to make sure of the amount of furnishings we had to move would have fit into the containers. Not sure it would have saved much time but perhaps it might have made thing smoother.

Dave and his crew could not have been better.  Dave provides the ultimate in customer service a flexibility.  He went way out of his way to accommodate our needs and changes throughout the process and his communication and follow up was impeccable.  The 3 man crew he provided were incredible, hard working, professional, personable and unbelievable in speed and efficiency.  Dave's commitment to provide the very best service possible was evident every step along the way.  I could not provide a higher recommendation.

Dave and his team are the most professional storage and moving team I have ever dealt with. I cannot praise them enough for the level of care they take with all belongings and how simple the process was made. Portable storage units are absolutely the way to go. It's so much more affordable than the traditional self storage. And with a team like Dave from Zippy Shell Greater Columbus, I knew my belongings were in good hands!!!

Dave is hands-down one of the most efficient and professional movers I've had to use in quite a long time, this is a franchise of the Zippy Shell organization, and this is a review for my interaction with Zippy Shell in the greater Columbus area, specifically working with Dave Rothman.  I will be more than happy to write a review for the Zippy Shell in the Greater Madison area when I arrive there on Friday. If you use zippy shell and a loader / mover the 3 day time-frame can absolutely be hit with the trailer.  I used zippy shell for a move heading to Wisconsin and while I have not made my way to Wisconsin just yet, his professionalism and willing to help in anyway shape or form made the transition that much easier.  
Dave provided the standard zippy shell cage/trailer and was very responsive and very prompt with his times.  Dave was able to help me locate movers in the area at a considerably reduced price that were also very professional - while I do not believe this happens in all cases, he hung out while one shell was filled so he could put in place the 2nd shell.  The movers and Dave packed 95% of my things inside of 3 hours which helped me to keep my costs under control.  The second shell was left at my home for another 2 days so that I could fill it the remainder of my things, as we were going to be living in the house for another 3 days, the rest of the way up at my own pace.
Dave also provided lots of details and insights on how to pack the shell so you utilize every cubic foot to your advantage - not much space was wasted!  Think of 3D Tetris on steroids - with a small "cheat" sheet!  :). I initially looked at moving as a wall that was on unscalable and with Dave and zippy shell I was able to start the scaling of this wall. Whole hearty I would use Dave again in any of my moving decisions if I would have remained here in the greater Columbus, Ohio area, or if I return to Columbus!  Thank you Dave!!

If anyone is looking for a company to do moving/storage, this is hands down, the BEST moving company I have ever used- and I have used at least a dozen in the last 10 years. I recently purchased a new sofa for my basement and contracted them for delivery. They were amazing!! The owner and his assistantent went above and beyond in every aspect. The sofa was supposed to go down to our basement and it was not going easily. They ended up spending 2 hours here, trying to make it work. They were so courteous, they never showed even a moment's frustration, and when it came time to pay, they didn't try to ask for more money, even to deliver the sectional back to the Arhaus Loft (because it wouldn't fit, which ultimately was OUR mistake for not measuring properly.) This is simply a level of customer service that is almost impossible to find in this day and age. I will definitely use them again.

Dave and Zippy Shell are great!! The concept is similar to PODS, however better!  With PODS I was concerned about our stuff being damaged in transit because they have to angle the POD in order to pick it up which causes stuff to shift.  With Zippy Shell they bring you your shell (POD) in a trailer which allows them to keep everything horizontal and parrallel with the ground so there is no shifting.  They are also less expensive than other companies that are similar. 
Were were also very pleased to know that all of our stuff was in a climate controlled environment.  Dave was extremely nice and professional, he went out of his way for us when dropping off the units and even gave us tips on packing.  The movers were great as well and the cost was less than anticipated.  I highly recommend Dave and Zippy Shell!!
