Phil is great!  He has cleaned my carpets before and I have recommended him to friends and family members.   I haven't felt the need to look for another carpet cleaner since.  He pre-sprays the carpet to help loosen dirt, then does a thorough job cleaning.  He is careful when moving furniture.  I like that he prices by machine time, not by room.  On his most recent visit, he cleaned 2 rooms and the steps.  They look brand new!

Phil was very professional.  He stopped by and took a look at the carpet before giving me a quote.  I use a small steam machine of my own in between professional cleaning.  He knows his stuff!!  He was able to extract any "left behind" dirt and residue from my personal cleaner.  He was very economical and truly cares about his clients.  My carpets dried quickly and look great.  I will definitely use him and recommend him over and over again.

He is just good all the way around.

We just bought a new home and were in desperate need of a carpet cleaner before we moved in. I remembered Phil from the cleaning he performed on my previous home's carpets in 2010. Back then he came highly recommended by a neighbor who has very high standards. If he impressed her I knew he had to do a great job.

When we had the carpets cleaned in May of 2011, Phil called ahead to say he was running a bit late. I appreciated him phoning me. Once he arrived we immediately walked through the house. Phil wanted to know exactly what needed to be cleaned. He promptly got to work. As he cleaned each area Phil pre-treated the dirtier areas of the carpet and used another chemical to get out really stubborn stains. He worked tirelessly during his time at our home. Phil asked questions when he needed to and also answered my questions.

Phil is the best. He even rolled-up the water hose on the side of my house after putting some water into his cleaning tank.

Phil is a really nice guy who is really customer focused. We will definitely have Phil back in the future.

Spencer Steam Clean has cleaned our carpets for 10 years and always does an excellent job. The owner, Phil Spencer, does all the work himself. He did arrive an hour late because of truck difficulties, but called to let me know, which I appreciated. The carpeting was cleaned to expectation, but the work on the furniture was nothing short of amazing. Years of grandchildren curling up with their shoes on had really done a number on the sofa and ottoman. The sofa now looks nearly new, and the "hopeless" ottoman is at least a few shades lighter. Would we hire Spencer again? We have...over and over.

I have used Spencer Steam Cleaning about a half-dozen times to clean my carpet. I have older carpet in my downstairs and a dog. Phil Spencer always explains he may not be able to get out some of the ancient stains before he starts the work, but he always manages to do it! He is punctual, professional, and explains all the options, like whether you want to add a deodorizer. He lifts the furniture and puts styrofoam blocks under the legs so they don't stain the damp carpet while it dries. I will continue to use him because he's always done a good job for me and is not as expensive as some other companies. He takes a lot of pride in his work.

He cleans my carpets and rugs every year. He is great. He is outstanding. He takes his time and does an excellent job. He is extremely trustworthy. He cleaned the carpets in 3 rooms and a hallway. He puts everything up on blocks. I think his price is reasonable and fair. I highly recommend him to anybody.

I HAVE USED THIS COMPANY SEVERAL TIMES. HIS WORK IS EXCELLENT AND THE PRICE IS REASONABLE. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE. I HAVE LEFT MY HOUSE KEYS WITH HIM SEVERAL TIMES TO LET HIMSELF IN AND OUT OF THE HOUSE WHILE I'M AT WORK. (THIS IS VERY CONVENIENT SINCE I DON'T HAVE TO WAIT AROUND HALF THE DAY FOR SOMEONE TO SHOW UP!)

WORK WAS TOP-NOTCH AND VERY THOROUGH. DEFINITELY WILL USE COMPANY AGAIN. PRICES WERE VERY REASONABLE.

CAME IN DID THE JOB, WAS REALLY FRIENDLY. I HAD SOME REALLY BAD SPOTS, AND HE TOOK CARE OF ALL OF THEM. I HAVE ALREADY RECOMMENDED HIM TO MY NIECE, AND SHES VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE ALSO.
