REINHOUDT'S LAWN CARE

This company did an excellent job. They were reliable, prompt and fast. We would definitely recommend them.

The first three days they were great, and then they only came randomly. Now we haven't seen them or heard from them and it's been two weeks now.

Reinhoudt's staff did an wonderful job with the yard clean-up, bed edging and mulching. They even gave our boxwood shrubs a nice trim and really made them look nice. They provided a timely quote, and the work was excellent. Only gave them a and quot;Band quot; for Responsiveness because they initially told me they'd be here on a particular day, but they didn't show up. I called the next day and they explained that the mid-April snow fall and rain had delayed their schedule a few days. It wasn't a problem for us, but it would have been nice to have been contacted first just in case the delay might have created a problem. They worked on a Saturday (their choice, not our request) to get caught up, and we weren't even here. They do exceptional work, and in our case worked completely unsupervised. We couldn't have done better ourselves, and it was nice coming home to a beautiful yard. Would highly recommend this company.

I used Reinhoudt’s to edge and lay mulch in the spring. They did a good job and the price was pretty reasonable. Given the favorable experience, I lined them up to mow my lawn while I was out of the country. I scheduled the service to start the week before leaving, it ensure it occurred. While they never came that first week, they were very responsive and assured me that they would be out weekly for the next 3 weeks. Before departing, I gave their information to my neighbor in case anything went wrong. I came back 3 weeks later any my neighbor informed me they NEVER came. Even worse, my neighbor called over 6 times to inquire on the status and Reinhoudt never answered and never returned any calls. Luckily all of my neighbors pitched in and took turns at mowing the think jungle (three weeks without any mowing in May!). Never again will I use Reinhoudt, and I wouldn’t encourage anyone else to either if they are looking for someone reliable

I received a flyer on my mailbox. I called them and they came out and performed an estimate within a couple of days. I thought the estimate was priced very fairly. I approved the estimate and gave them permission to schedule the work. They scheduled the work for the following week. The work was done in 2 days. I was not present during their work either day.
The first day was the bulk of the work. They completed everything except the mulching the first day. That gave me the oppurtunity to examine the quality of the edging and weeding. I noticed the edges where fairly rough, as if done quickly by hand as opposed to a machine or slowly by hand. I also noticed the weeding was not done. I noticed that there were still a fair amount of leaves on my patio leftover from the fall that were not cleaned up. It is important to note that these leaves were not in the mulch beds but in the surrounding areas.
The second day the mulch was applied. Everything looked beautiful. I could no longer see the jagged lines of the edging. I did still notice the leaves on the patio that were still not removed (again not in mulch beds). They left the invoice on my door and the price matched the estimate exactly even though I think it was more work than they thought it would be.
It has been a week since the work has been completed. I have noticed a number of weeds coming up through the mulch. This really isn't a big deal for me since I can just spray them with Roundup.
Overall, I'm very pleased. My yard is deceptive. It looks like a lot less work. I've done it in the past myself and I know how much work it is. Last year I hired some college kids and it took 2 of them a total of 4 days to complete the work. I supplied the mulch which ended up being 180x2 cubic feet bags (~ 13 cubic yards). I plan to hire them again next year.

To start with, they were several hours late to arrive and give us an estimate. Their estimate for tree removal was the lowest we'd received, so we agreed to have them do all of the work including edging our beds and mulching everything. On the scheduled day, they never arrived or called. After I called several times, they finally called me back and apologized saying they were delayed because of rain. They showed up a few weeks later and then said they couldn't cut down the tree that day because their chipper was broken. They said they'd do everything else, then come back the next week to cut down the tree and a few other branches that I pointed out on our other trees. We paid for the services performed, then never heard from them again. I've called and left numerous messages in the past five weeks and never received any reply. I'm now going to have to hire a company to cut down the dead tree, costing me more money than I planned to spend on the project.

Ben and Brandy are great! They do what is asked of them. Services are performed as scheduled. They are professional and reasonably priced.

BEN DOES AN EXCELLENT JOB MOWING OUR LAWN. HIS WORK ALSO INCLUDES THE BLOWING OFF OF OUR PATIO, SIDEWALKS AND DRIVE. WHAT WE APPRECIATE MOST IS THE PRICE AND THE FACT THAT WE CAN CALL "ON- DEMAND". THERE IS NO CONTRACT FOR WEEKLY MOWS. SO, WHEN WE ARE ABLE TO DO THE JOB OURSELVES, IT IS NO HASSLE. WE JUST CALL WITH A FEW DAYS NOTICE AND HE COMES OUT TO MOW.
