Mutters and Deep Green lawn service take care of lawn and all entries to River Landing subdivision off of Davidson, Schirtzinger, and Dublin Roads. Their lawn work and subdivision entry landscaping with plants, arrangements and maintenance are beautiful and top quality. Very professional and reliable company to work with.

It went fine the first year. The second year was a different story. From the very beginning I was told there was free aeration if I did all of their other treatments. I got that the first year so I allowed them to continue the second year. I had all the treatments and they did the core aeration again. This time they did it when the yard was wet and they tore it up and made a muddy mess out of it. My lawn has never looked so awful. And then they sent a bill for $48. I e-mailed them what I had in writing about the free aeration and received an e-mail back saying that was just for the first year. That was never told to me prior to them doing it. They have continued sending me invoices and I have refused to pay it. The same thing has happened to my neighbor and they just sent her to collections. There is no negotiation on their part. Plain and simple you pay it or you are sent to collection. This company doesn’t care about honoring their agreement or keeping their customers happy. How about “I am sorry about the misunderstanding?” Or, how about we split the cost? None of that whatsoever. They need a to take a customer service course. I would not recommend them.

Very well.  We had a prior service i would rate as a D+.  Deep Green started our lawn service, got a quick handle on our weed problem and restored our lawn to looking great once again.

Mutters Lawn Service was quick to return calls during the appointment process with the same or next day return calls. Once contact was made, our appointment was set for the next business day.
Two gentlemen arrived at 8:45 a.m. I walked the property with the supervisor to review flag locations for the sprinkler heads, in ground dog fence, and related off limit areas for aeration marked by flags. The supervisor mentioned a couple of times they were not responsible for damages to the in ground dog fence if not marked properly. Never having used this company before, I was tense about the in ground dog fence. However, the job was completed in about 20 minutes with the in ground dog fence and all sprinkler heads intact. I had forgotten to mark the line where the in ground dog fence comes out of the home to the perimeter, but fortunately, it was intact as well.

Indifferent attitude towards customer. Unresponsive to repeated customer requests. Work warranty not honored after the work was performed due to price negotiation. Despite explaining that the two are unrelated, the woman at Mutters still would not honor the guarantee to re-seed the bare spots. Hostile attitude, lack of client focus and marginal work are the take away from this experience. There are other lawn service professionals in Central Ohio who would better serve the customer.

Shortly after calling Mutters to request a quote for aeration and seeding, someone stopped by the house and left the quote in my mailbox. The price seemed reasonable so I called to schedule the aeration and seeding, with the fertilizer application to be applied at the appropriate time later in the year. Not too long after, the aeration and seeding was completed. When dealing with Mutters for both the estimate and servcies performed, the process was pretty seamless as they never required me to be at home. I also had follow-up questions after the initial quote and everyone I spoke with was very helpful and answered all of my questions. My only complaint is that when they seeded, they were a little careless with the seed spreader and seed ended up in a lot of our landscaping beds so now I have grass growing in my mulch.

They are excellent. Very reliable and I would recommend them. They have never missed a week in 12 years of mowing my yard.

After one rain they came out and killed the grass by trampling it. They said that they would come out and reseed in the fall but I have been calling them and they will not return my call. So they are yet to return my call about the reseeding but the continue to bill me and cash my checks for the mowing. I spoke to an employee on October 28th and still nothing. They don't answer their phone, return phone calls and they are ignoring the reseeding they said they would do. Its now too late in the season to seed and I'm not sure if they completed the lawn contract and treatment I had originally signed up for them to do. All calls go directly to voice mail and nobody ever answers the phone.

They had left a flyer at my house. I called them Friday, they were here Saturday. Great communication, very friendly.

This is the second year I am with the company. The first year I ended up with more weeds than I have ever seen. I spoke with the person at the beginning of the second year. They said that we would work together to make sure the weeds are taken care of as the year goes on. I have not had any more troubles yet this year, but it is still early so I am going to wait and see what happens over the summer. The price is competitive as long as they take care of the weeds that occur over time.

I asked many of my neighbors who they recommend to fix our lawn. Mr. Don Mutters was recommended. I called Don on a Thursday evening and he was at my house the next morning checking everything out. His crew arrived the following Monday and completed all work. Don assured me that the aeration and new seed will come to fruition next Spring. Looking at our neighbors yards, I'm confident that it will. I will be using Dan and his crew for future yard work.

We have used Mutters for years at our old house. We had them come to our new house to work on getting the lawn looking as good as our previous lawn did. He was very responsive and quick to do the work.

THEY DO A GREAT JOB. HE AND HIS WIFE HAVE DONE A REALLY NICE JOB. NICE TO DEAL WITH.

THEY HAVE THE CHEAPEST PRICE and BEST QUALITY I'VE HAD. AFTER A FIVE YEAR SEARCH, THIS IS THE FIRST COMPANY I'VE BEEN SATISFIED WITH. I LIKE THAT THEY WATCH THE LAWN GROWTH TO MAKE SURE IT LOOKS NICE, EVEN IF THEY HAVE TO MOW TWICE IN ONE WEEK, AND THEY DON'T CHARGE EXTRA FOR THAT. PRICE IS WEEKLY.

THE BEST LAWN COMPANY I'VE HAD IN COLUMBUS TO DATE. TOOK GREAT CARE TO NOT CUT TREES AND TO NOT PUT MOWER 'RINGS' AROUND TREES AT MY REQUEST. CUT GRASS EXACTLY WHEN NEEDED, DIDN'T TRY TO PAD CHARGES WITH THINGS LIKE NONCUT DRIVEBYS, DOUBLE CUTS, ETC, LIKE SOME OTHER COMPANIES DO.

GIVE HONEST RECOMMENDATIONS THEY WILL SAY IF WE NEED SOMETHING OR DO NOT. THEY TRY TO MEET SPECIAL REQUESTS.
