Eric from Midwest Water systems called within the hour of my request submitted on Angie’s and left me a message. I called back after couple of hours and he troubleshooted my water softener issue over the phone and walked me through each of the steps with lot of patience while educating me along the way. He was on the call throughout the whole process and made sure my water softener started working again. He is really good at what he does and educated me about the water softeners and how they work. I really appreciate his help. I would definitely recommend this company to my friends. Appreciate Eric’s help very much.

We had 2 plumbers out to the home before Eric of Midwest. 1st plumber wanted to put in a new pressure tank, pressure switch, and expanded water lines. 2nd plumber wanted to replace our entire water softener system and thought our water well was running dry. Eric of Midwest came out and found a $15.00 clogged spindown sediment filter in less than 30 minutes. Awesome service and would not hesitate to call him again in the future.

Eric was clearly knowledgeable about his field. He told me I would not get a sales pitch, but he needed to come by to test our water and make sure he was quoting what we needed. We discussed pricing on the phone, as I had already determined the high- and low-water marks (pardon the pun) on the pricing spectrum. He arrived right on time, quickly looked at our existing equipment, tested the water, and wrote up a quote (which was about what he told me on the phone). Upon approval, he arranged with us to come out and do the installation...again, he was punctual. Eric and Jeff installed the new system (a softener, a RO drinking water filter, and an instant hot water system that I purchased separately) quickly and professionally, and they removed the old system as well. They did a great job, and we're very happy with the new system.

We just moved to a new home. It was built in 1999 and had the original Kinetico water softener. Soon after we moved in, we noticed a strong metal smell to the water. We had a couple of companies come out evaluate what was going on with our system. They told us what was going on and gave us estimates to rebuild the current system and estimates to buy a new system. We chose Midwest Water Softeners to install a new system. We felt like Eric was really knowledgeable. He told us what we needed and didn't try to upsell any extras. Even when I asked about other equipment, he told me we really didn't need it. The smell is gone. Our water is soft. So far so good. Thanks Eric.

After 30 years of heavy-duty use, our water softener from 1986 finally stopped working. Because our usual plumber doesn't do water softener installations, I did some research at BBB and Angie's List, checked the reviews, and made a few phone calls to water softener installers. Mr. Knadler, at Midwest Water Softeners, was very informative, and seemed extremely knowledgeable about installing water softeners on well-water applications. I made an appointment, and Mr. Knadler arrived exactly on time (that's a first for me). When the job was complete, Mr. Knadler cleaned up the area, and removed my old softener. I will definitely make a recommendation for his company, his professionalism, and a decent price.

Eric Knadler (the owner) took his time to explain just how everything works in all 3 of the systems that I had installed. My biggest problem was the iron in my water which was completely resolved. Several weeks after the installation was complete Eric called me to make sure that everything was working properly. Very professional. If there was a AAA+ score Eric would get it. I would highly recommend Midwest Water Softeners.

Mr. Knadler did a great job explaining how the water softener works, and was flexible with softening the hot water only.  He even helped me replace the exterior in-line ice maker filter.  I highly recommend Midwest Water Softeners LLC to anyone in need of a water softener or reverse osmosis system.
