This was the third time in 4 yrs. that we have used this company! Never a problem with anything that they have done for us. Brett was the tech who has helped us each time we needed professional help! Brett is a true professional, plus he is a people person, always courteous & polite.
I was then told they would call the tech and have him call me in the next few minutes to see when he could come for my service. I called back at 10:40 having still not heard from the tech or anyone else. All this time my PC was down so I could not do anything I needed to get done. They then transferred me to another location to their dispatcher who was apologetic and rescheduled my appointment for between 1:00 & 1:30 that afternoon. The tech finally called at 2:to let me know he was on the way, but that he was at least 30 to 45 minutes away.
When he arrived he got right to work, and said he was finished about 2 hours later. I had told them when I first called what I wanted done and they said it would only take an hour. I told them then that that was about all I could pay as I'm disabled and live on a very tight fixed income. They said that shouldn't be a problem no more than I wanted done. When he finished he had me sign his work order and pay him, which I did. He said everything was right and seemed to be in a hurry to leave. I thought he probable had another service call to make.
That night I tried to get my media player to play some of my music on file in my computer, but to no avail, it just wouldn't work at all. In the morning when I tried to log on, I couldn't get it to come on at all. I called Fast teks and told them about what it did and didn't do. I was informed that if I wanted them to get it straightedge out I would have to pay another $85.00 dollar service call. I explained that he had just been there the the afternoon of the day before. I was then told that if I didn't sit down and go thru all the programs on my computer while the tech was here that it was my fault and they had no responsibility to me or the service provided by them. I told them that he had said it all worked fine and left with the unit on and at my email address. They told me that was tough, and did I want to make another appointment with them to come back for service. I told them no thank you and hung up.
I'm sorry but I was raised to be a man of my word and to finish a job after I agreed to do something. But customer service with these folks is non existent. I will not ever do business with these people again, and I could not recommend them to anyone.
