After a near disaster with a previous contractor Justin came involved with our backyard patio up grade project.  We had plans from previous contractor (see previous post regarding that disaster) which thankfully we did not use.  When we first met Justin he completely redid our design with an artists eye towards design and appreciation for budget.  He was always very pleasant to work with, listened to our ideas and had plenty of excellent suggestions of his own. While his crew was small, just him and a few other workers (which is how he like it, I understand to maintain direct hands on) they were very professional and worked very hard. He was on site all day every day, cutting stone, laying pavers and building walls...everything.

As with any large project we made significant changes to the design as it grew, adding on square footage of the patio which required ordering more materials.  This change was exceedingly easy; Justin took care of making the changes in a very timely efficient manner.  There were issues with the stones used to build walls...manufacture problems that if not corrected would result in walls not being level.  He met with rep and end result was they were not able to do anything about it...but Justin individually ground down dozens and dozens of oversized stones to correct height so that the wall would be even and true...without charging us anything!  I don't think many would have noticed the problem, worked hard with manufacture rep to fix and then take it upon himself to fix the problem so that the job met HIS standards.

Our patio sits on a golf course and have had many complements on it from folks walking the paths...both the workmanship and the design

The work was excellent.  Justin was extremely responsive and had an extremely competitive price.  He was super easy to work with and was very amenable to questions and changes as the project unfolded.  The work was completed exactly as quoted, both with regard to price and timeline. The work was performed as requested in a professional and timely manner, the product used is quality grade pavers that were installed with attention to detail.
