He did an amazing job fully repainting the inside of the house including, trim, cabinet and wood work. This is the second job he has completed for us and we can’t wait for his professional work on the next project.

The service was excellent. Mike worked into the evening and some weekends to meet the proposed deadline ahead of time. He and his team were a joy to work with. The work is absolutely amazing. His expertise helped us achieve results even better than we hoped for.

Mike was by far one of the most professional contractors I have ever worked with. There was great communication the entire time and very clear expectations that were exceeded. He did beautiful work, fit me into his schedule even though he was booked out, and even helped me with some of the drywall I had messed up which was above and beyond. I only wish I had hired him for the entire drywall project.

Mike did an excellent job. He replaced my water heater, painted a bedroom, replaced the electrical sockets and covers in the bedroom and bathroom, and replaced the light socket in my bathroom ceiling fan. He also hung blinds and a new curtain rod in the bedroom. He was on time, worked quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up after himself when he was done. I will definitely be using him again for future projects.

Mike did an outstanding job. He was punctual, courteous, reliable, and very professional. His pricing was very much in line with other estimates we received, and we are so glad that we chose him. For those who are extremely detail-oriented, you will enjoy watching Mike work. He is extremely thorough and cleans up his work areas at the end of each day. We also felt completely at ease leaving Mike access to our home on days we were gone. I was so impressed with the quality of Mike's work, that I plan on using Mike for all future maintenance and painting work on my residence and rental. He has over 20 years of experience, and it is such a relief knowing that any tasks assigned will be done correctly and professionally. We trust Mike's judgment explicitly. Mike painted most of our interior; great room, hallways, laundry room, kitchen and ceiling (everything except bedrooms and bathrooms).  We also have a cathedral ceiling in the great room (approx. 16 foot) that needed some minor repair work.
Mike did an excellent job!  He started the work on a Saturday which accommodated our busy schedule and completed the following Saturday.  We had more than the average dings and nail pops with having three kids and the house settling for 18 years.  Mike did an excellent job with all of the wall repairs.  The walls and ceiling look like new.  His flexibility with working around our schedule was also a huge plus.
 

Despite being very busy came and did work on weekend so that we could have work completed in March. Reliable, friendly, does excellent job. Cleans up area, hardly know he's in home as he completes each task. Family business.

Mike did a wonderful job. My house looks beautiful and I couldn't be happier with his work. I had several companies give me bids on the job and his price was not the lowest, but I got a good vibe from him and I was right. I was very comfortable having him in my house for a couple of weeks. He got along well with my dog that doesn't always get along great with service providers. He accepted deliveries and let the dogs out throughout the day. He's friendly, but not overly so. He was very professional, he came and went at the same time every day and never left a mess. After he painted a hall and my kitchen, I decided that I didn't like the color I had chosen. He graciously repainted with my new color without any complaint. He's a very nice guy, we miss having him around the house! I would certainly recommend him to any of my friends and I will call him with my next painting job without considering anyone else.

I purchased the Angie's Deal for $1999 from DC Painting. Michael, the owner, responded promptly, came to look at the job to be done, and fit our job in his schedule within the next 2 weeks. He completed the job in 4 1/2 days. Every room looks super!  He is professional, neat, and courteous.  I will hire him again, without a doubt. This was a great experience.

He quoted us $700 to completely repair and replace all the deck boards on our porch and to repair any deck boards that needed repaired, so all of the structural elements of the deck that were included in the deck boards and so I agreed to the service and then he showed up about two weeks late. Every week I would call him and say, "Hey, what's going on?"  and he kept giving me a runaround thing that he had other jobs that he's having trouble finishing. He eventually showed up with another person, a trainee, and they started working on the deck, and I stayed home and watched them and everything seemed to be going just fine. Around the end of the day, he came and talked to me and said, "Hey, this is going to take more than one day. I wasn't able to finish". I said, "That's not a problem. So, you will be back tomorrow?" He is like, "Yeah, I have to charge you by the hour." I'm like, "Oh! I'm paying $700 for the job." He is like, "Oh yeah, we have to talk about that too. I just spent $800 and something dollars in materials alone." So, he is like, "I'm going to charge you more". I'm like, "Oh, why didn't you tell me that before you cut all the boards and try to install it?" "Yes, you're asking that was way off". Like, if you're charging $700 for the entire job and that includes your profit, paying $800 something for the materials and then telling me after the fact, and then he said, "Whoa, I'm not even done buying the materials. I'm going to buy more." I reluctantly agreed that the price could be rated like $800 and he was not too happy about that, but I wasn't happy about it either. He came back the next day, did some work but did not finish it, and left without really discussing why, but he had apparently had another job he had to be on. Then, in the end, I finally, myself, bought the remaining deck boards and finished the job myself. He never finished it. I told them over the phone, I'm like, "Hey, you never finished the job, but you're asking for a full payment." He was telling me, "Okay, if you don't pay me, I will take out a lien on your home." I said, "Okay, fine." After discussing with my wife, I guess that's fine, we'll pay him, and then we're done with it. I paid him I think $884 was the final cost which he was very unhappy. I was very unhappy with the whole thing. Since he was kind of irate on the phone, I did not post any negative comments. I didn't post any negative comments because I don't want any repercussions because clearly he would know who installed for the porch deck boards. I did not feel comfortable posting anything negative about them. Hopefully, a year has gone by and he's cooled off and he can deal with the repercussions in having a bad service. I was completely unhappy. I would rate the job as an "F" overall. It's complete auto failure. I have found out since that he never replaced any of the structural elements of the deck. The reason we were having the deck replaced was because of a rotten deck board, but some of the structural elements were also rotten, while he said he was going to replace what he needed to be replaced in order to make it structurally sound, none of those boards were replaced. Now, the new deck is on and I'm not going to rip off the new deck in order to go replace them. So, eventually I'm pretty sure that those will rot out and I will have to have a new deck down again.

Excellent work and professionalism. Answered my questions (which were a lot) with ease and did the work based on his estimation. Work itself was great and better than expected.
