BOB MYERS GREENMONT PAINTING & WALLPAPERING

This was the worst painting job we have ever seen. Areas were completely missed. Thin spots were on every wall. One ceiling was rolled but not trimmed. Towel bars and closet shelving were not removed but just painted around with paint slopped on them. Paint splatters were all over woodwork, cabinetry, hardwood floors, door handles, railings, wall mounted speakers, and the new carpet. Mr. Meyer seemed most proud of how fast he could paint. He assured us that everything would be cleaned up. We called twice speaking with his wife each time. He refused to take responsibility or speak to us directly. He accused us of wanting new carpet and using Behr Paint (#1 rating in Consumer Report.) His helper came out each time with a can of Opps. The second time of following him around to point out every mistake, we decided to send him home and clean up their mess ourselves. We took pictures of his poor workmanship and appealed to the BBB for resolution. He refused arbitration. Why?

WALLS WERE NOT PROPERLY PRIMED AND ARE NOW PEELING. WORK WAS DONE FAST AND IN A HURRY. COMPANY DID TAKE A FEW HOURS TO REPAIR PROBLEM THEN HIS WIFE CALLED AND SAID HE WOULD NOT BE FINISHING THE JOB. DRYWALL WAS POOR QUALITY AND JOB WAS PAID FOR IN FULL.

HE WAS VERY GOOD. I WAS VERY PLEASED. HE EVEN WASHED THE WINDOWS WHEN HE WAS FINISHED.
