American Freight Furniture - Columbus West

My husband and I recently bought a mattress from this company. We bought it earlier in the day and was told that it would be delivered later that evening for a $39 delivery charge. We waited until 9pm and just figured that they would deliver it the next morning. We waited until about 3pm and called the store and they replied that it would be there "sometime before 9pm." My husband explained to them that we had waited all night previously and most of the next day and we weren't going to sit until 9 that night waiting. His reply was "Sorry, I don't know what to tell you." So my husband said he would cancel the mattress sale and the sales guy said all sales are final. So my husband said he would never buy another mattress from them again and he said "That's okay, there are plenty of other people out there." My husband called their corporate office and explained the problem to them and they said they would have the mattress to us by 4pm. They just left my house and it s 6:40pm. The delivery driver also charged us $49 (it has to be paid in cash) to have it delivered even though our paperwork states that it is $39. The whole thing seemed shady. I will never buy anything from them again and the company really needs a lesson in customer service.

Comparable prices. I bought it on Sunday and they delivered it on Monday.
