The AC stopped working on a hot Sunday July morning. Atlas Butler was called since they had same day service available. Atlas diagnosed the problem as a bad capacitor and offered me a quote to replace it which seemed quite high. A family member recommended that I call Jason from Air Source. My call was returned promptly, and Jason provided me a quote over the phone since I knew what the problem was. Jason found time to come out later that day and replaced the part in about 15 minutes for a fee that was far less than Atlas. He also educated me on a few other potential service issues and what to watch out for later. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again.

The serviceman came looked at the problem, diagnosed it as ice that had fallen off of the roof into the unit and was impeding the fan, and told me how to get around using the compressor until the ice could melt. He was quick, thorough, and solved the problem immediately.

They replaced the A/C. They came out earlier and said that it could possibly be a leak and they were able to work around it last summer. It lasted into this summer before we actually had the problem again so we had a history with them. They didn't try to oversell us last year and this year their price was very competitive so we stayed with them. Very quick for when they came out to check it again to when they installed it. Took over the weekend. We didn't notice any problems at all. They did what was immediately necessary and didn't try to replace it until it needed to be.

They did not charge us, I think the part was under warranty. I would grade Dan an "A plus" if I could. They were there within 24 hours. Most of the time the owner comes out because he lives close to us, so I don't know if that is normal procedure. He does have one other guy that works for him as a person in charge, so there are 2 people that are our go to people to come to do stuff for our house.

My furnace and heat pump were working fine but I scheduled a fall check-up with Logan Furnace on 10/9/2015.  They inspected the furnace and heat pump and told me that both of the systems had problems and needed to be replaced.  I was also told that my April Aire humidifier also needed to be replace. My son-in-law recommended that I contact Jason Hunt at Air Source for a second opinion.  He had used Jason at his home, law office and rental property many times and he told be that his experiences with him had been wonderful.  Jason came to my home on 11/5/2015 and after inspecting the units said they seemed to be working and he would not recommend doing anything at this time.  He said that if there were problems later, I could replace the units separately and didn't need to replace both units if one of the units was working  He checked out my April Aire humidifier and said the screen needed to be replaced but other than that it was working okay.  I asked him about replacing my 40 year old thermostat and I scheduled him to return and install the thermostat and humidifier. He scheduled an appointment to come back a few days later and installed both items and the charge was $234.00 including two house calls.  I came home late on 1/27/2016 and my furnace was not working and the outside temperature was in the single numbers.  I called Jason at 10:00 p.m.  I told him that I had space heaters that I could use and he scheduled an appointment for the next day.  He told me that my furnace was okay but there was a problem with a lose wire in my electric box which he tightened and the furnace worked fine.  He charged me $84 for the service.  I would highly recommend him as he is honest , reliable and his prices are wonderful compared to other furnace companies I have used.

We just bought a home and were having problems with the furnace. The home warranty people sent a company out. The company was terrible and couldn't explain to us why our house was cold. We called Air Source, they came that evening. They were able to explain exactly what was wrong with the furnace and quote us a new one. We plan to purchase a new furnace from them in the coming months. They didn't even charge me for the call because he felt bad that we were having so much trouble with our new home.

We decided to go with max efficient Bryant. We had a very old Carrier that performed well and Bryant and Carrier are made by the same company. The guys arrived on time with the new unit. They were off to the basement to pull the old unit. Installed the new one and ran the exhaust through PVC pipe to outside. They also changed out a UV light and the furnace comes with an awesome programmable thermostat.
They cleaned up after themselves. They provided instructions about the furnace and the thermostat. The furnace is so quiet and warms the house so fast it is amazing.
These are the kind of people that you trust in your house. I was comfortable leaving them in the house and running an errand. They were both very good with our dogs. Jason has done work for multiple family members and has always been fair and makes every effort to trouble shoot, repair, and keep costs down. They are just the best and I highly recommend them.

My AC unit was freezing because the Freon levels were getting low. I had called Butler two weeks earlier for a quote and to get more Freon added. They charged me $200 to add a little Freon to the system and gave me a quote for a new unit at $10,000. Air Source came out two weeks later when the lines started to freeze again and topped off the Freon levels free of charge before I even committed to getting the new unit through them. They were back 2 days later and had the new units installed in a few hours. A year later everything still works great and my house is cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

Called yesterday because my A/C would not turn on, they wanted to come out later that same day and take a look at it. This is the first time I have ever had to tell a company to hold off it was too soon, but we were having guests and the outside temperature wasn't too hot. Dan showed up right on time, I explained the history and problems we had in the past and after a little investigating he found the problem. It turns out the problem surfaced after another company took a short-cut, Dan had it fixed in short order (he didn't talk them down, that was my conclusion after he explained what the problem was). This is the third time over 4 years I have had Air Source service my system and each time it has been an excellent experience. I know I need a new system (it is past its service life and just barely limping along), but they never never try to sell me something. Dan, just the other times, was honest about the condition and didn't complain about helping me make last just one more year. They will get my business when I do decide to replace my system.

Jason was very responsive and came to our home within two hours of my call at 7 pm. While he did not have the part that our furnace needed he gave us a very accurate estimate of price and time when he would be able to repair it the next day, which he did. Unfortunately we experienced another problem a day later. Jason came to look at the furnace to discover that another problem had occurred and told us he would have to locate the motor our furnace needed. He did not charge us an additional fee for the service call. In addition to all of this, Jason came out to our home on Sunday afternoon to install the motor that we needed and we were with heat within an hour! Thankfully since on Monday it dropped to 16 degrees! We would call again and plan on using them for our new furnace install and maintenance!

Our A/C went out on a week night. Jason came over at 6:45pm to take a look at the furnace and air conditioner. He determined what was wrong and gave us suggestions for making the system more efficient and told us what was needed to repair the furnace. Jason ordered the part and stayed exactly with the price he quoted. He cleaned the A/C unit and really went above and beyond the call of duty. He and his company are trustworthy and I would use them again without hesitation. They are professional, prompt, and really explain what how everything works. I can't say enough about this company. Keep in mind, we had a heat index of 105 degrees and they came out within 20 mins. Great work!

Punctual, friendly, not pushy, honest hard-working people with a good product to sell. What else could you ask for? They explained the pros and cons of my options, and they let me decide. They explained exactly what they were doing and why. They were fast, friendly, and trustworthy. It's a nice small company that gives you 100% effort. My air conditioner was not cooling and it was 95 degrees outside. I called several other H and Air Conditioning Services and none of them could could come out for 1 week because they were receiving so many calls. I contacted Air Source and Dan was out within 4 hours. He took his time to diagnose the problem, added freon, checked to ensure that the house was cooling, and made recommendations for more efficient use. I was extremely satisfied with the speed in which he returned my call, came to my house , and resolved my issue. I will use Air Source fin the future for all of my heating and air conditioning needs and would highly recommend Air Source to anyone who asks my opinion.

Temperature over 90. AC stopped cooling. Wife home recovering from surgery. After hours (Tuesday late), called three places, left messages for the first 2 (Worthington Columbus and Buckeye) on their answering service (very nice, asked for details).

When I called Air Source, Dan picked up and immediately scheduled an appointment for the following day. When he learned my wife was recuperating from surgery, he went to bat for us, trying to find someone who could help us earlier the next day or that night (9+ pm). As it turned out, Dan came over himself that night, checked the unit, found the likely culprit (low on refrigerant), and fixed it. We spent the night sleeping comfortably. ZZZ.

Dan didn't try to upsell and promised to come back if we start having problems again after he topped off the refrigerant. If we start having problems, I'll post another message. Based on my experience, Air Source will respond quickly and thoroughly. For now, Dan and Air Source have a customer for life.

BTW, I did hear back from the other two companies the next day. One promised 'emergency' service the following Saturday (at an 'emergency' price). Or they could come the next week.
