Completely satisfied with the service. Pete came highly recommended from several collegues. He was on time, prepared and SO effecient.  Two coats on several walls in one afternoon.  We will certainly use Pete again and will recommend him to friends and family.

He was very good.  He gave me an estimated time which took a little bit longer but he wanted to make sure I was happy with the end results.  When getting estimates he was the most reasonable priced provider in the area.  The work he did I have no complaints and would hire him again in the future.

We have used Pete DeWilde for several years when we have any painting jobs to do.  Pete always does a very nice job and is very efficient and a pleasure to work with.  We always try to have realistic expectations depending on what we are trying to do especially with such an old home... Pete has never disappointed us....

It is unfortunate that I have to provide such a negative review of Pete DeWilde/3D Custom Painting.  I have had good experiences with Pete in the past, having used him to do interior and exterior paint jobs for me on approximately 5 separate occasions, as recently as last year.  Pete's prices are good.  I never had a problem with his professionalism or responsibility in the past.  His paint jobs were slightly above average.  Not fabulous, but the price was good, so I was happy with the services I was getting.  In mid-March of this year, I emailed Pete and asked if he would be able to repaint my pergola in approximately the next month at the price he charged us the last time he did the job ($500).  Pete responded quickly and agreed to take on the job.  He told me he would get the job done the second week of April.  That was acceptable to me, so I agreed.  In early April, my husband borrowed a power washer and washed the pergola and cleared everything off our patio to get ready for Pete.  I emailed Pete the first week of April to tell him the pergola was prepared and ready to go, asking when we could expect him.  He told me the weather may be too cool to do the job, that he would check the weather report and get back to me with an estimate work date.  He did not do so.  On April 19, I emailed him again, asking when he was planning on getting to the job.  He emailed back and again said the weather may be too cool or rainy in the next week, that he would check the weather and get back to me.  Again, he did not do so.  And, of course, this has been the nicest spring we have had in years so his weather excuses were beginning to strike me as strange.  Finally, on May 11 (2 months after he'd agreed to complete the job within 1 month's time) I emailed Pete again and told him that we had a large party planned for Memorial Day, asked him to confirm that he would get the job done within a week.  I told him otherwise I may need to hire someone else for the job.  Pete did not even have the professionalism to respond to my email to tell me he would not or could not complete the job he had agreed to do.  Given my years' of loyalty in always going back to Pete for my paint jobs, one would think he also would have more loyalty to his clients.  Because Pete strung us along for 2 months and never had the courtesy to tell us he wouldn't be doing our job, I had to hire another painter at a premium price to get my pergola painted in the next week and a half before my Memorial Day party.  Needless to say, I won't be hiring Pete again and recommend you do not either.

Pete came when he said he would come, worked from early til late over a few days until the job was finished. He is very respectful, very hard working and nice to have around. We will hire him for every one of our interior/exterior paint jobs, for sure. He actually painted the entire interior of our house prior to moving in in 2007.

He did a very nice job and he even helped me with some handyman stuff that wasn't on the contract which I really appreciated. He had some scheduling problems because he was basically overbooked so I had to wait a little bit but everything else was good.

Pete's estimate was higher than the other painters we talked to, but we liked the fact that he did all the painting himself, so we knew after talking to him that we'd met the entire crew who'd be in our house. Other aspects of our renovations delayed part of the painting job and Pete was flexible and understanding. He was punctual and professional and did great work. Due to weather issues, one part of the job ended up running before it could dry and Pete came out immediately to fix the problem area.

Pete is very personable, highly professional, extremely trustworthy and by far the best painter I have ever seen. he never once used a drop cloth and there was not one drop of paint on anything that he was not painting. His edges are razor sharp, and he treated our home as if it were his own. Not only did he finish the job on time, working around other workers, but he lowered the price several hundred dollars because it did not take him as long as he thought it would. The bottom line is: If you need painting done, HIRE THIS MAN, Pete the Painter.

Pete was great to work with. He was flexible and agreed to paint 2 additional rooms (forcing him to work on Saturday). He was very fair and honest and even lowered the price from the original estimate when he was able to complete part of the job quicker than anticipated. We are very pleased with his work.

Pete started exactly when he said he would and remained committed to the estimate; even though our 2700 square feet, including all the woodwork, took him a week longer than he planned, his price did not change. He worked a long day, every day and took such pride in his work that we really felt he was the one to make this house we bought into our home. We love the work he did, not to mention he was so pleasant to have around. We've already given out his card to so many people. He went out of his way to be so helpful. We'll hire him for any work we need done that he can do.
