ALLSTATE SEPTIC TANK SVC

We scheduled him to come out and he did not show up. We then called him and he said he was running late. He finally got here two hours late. His language was not the best and he was not very professional. He even threw raw sewage on our driveway and did not want to clean it up. We complained about it and he ended up not charging us for the septic service due to the mess and the late arrival.

Allstate told us a service agreement providing regular service calls to check the level of solids would avoid the bags becoming clogged and needing replacement, in turn taking the pressure off the motor and could avoid costly repairs and replacements as we only have a small system. They said they would check twice yearly and empty when necessary. We trusted Allstate and signed the contract but 12 months later when our system seized up and Allstate told us we needed a new motor and bags we were told no service calls had ever been made because they had the wrong number on our card (the previous owner's). When I asked why they had not written to let us know the lady was very unhelpful and despite repeated requests, no one would call us back. We tried to resolve it through the Better Business Bureau and after a lot of correspondence and a letter from our lawyer they offered to refund the costs of the bags but only if we released them from all liability for the work they carried out.

Overall, it is unfortunate that they did such a poor job this time. The first they did a wonderful job only to be tarnished by poor follow up and an unprofessional and rude employee. I would recommend the company return calls when asked.

I did have to pay a hauling fee and a dumping fee. They arrived when they said they would. They started right to work and I think they did a good job. They did give me a receipt, from the dumping company.
