I contacted Begue Painting on July 4th thru Angie's List to arrange for them to give me an estimate to paint the exterior of my house & garage. I got no reply so I called their phone number to make a request. I got voice mail so left a message. As of the evening of the 10th I have not yet received a response.

Mr. Terry Begue has integrity, is honest in his dealings, treated our home as if it were his own, provided clear and concise estimate, insured, used best paint on the market. End result was a superior paint job at a reasonable price. Our house looks terrific. We'll only hire Terry for future paint services. Best company we have ever worked with. Prompt. Reliable. Respectful. Fair. Treated us like we were his number one customer, We wish he offered additional home repair services!

The paint on both porches immediatly bubbled. Begue returned to repaint the side porch but it bubbled a second time. At that point Mr. Begue stated that he wasn't responsible for fixing the problem. He said that he had used muratic acid on the cement as a courtousy (????) and didn't feel that he should make the paint job correct. After many phone calls and difficult and upsetting discussions Mr. Begue did agree to correct the bubbling issues and the porches looked very nice when he finished the job. He seems to be a very good painter but is not adept at copporatively correcting problems with his work. I wish that the experience with thispainter had ended as pleasntly as when I hired him for the job.

the crew arrived promptly, cover the plants, they painted, did a good job, only a few of the flowers got trampled, but there were so many flowers it would have been difficult to avoid them all

Terry and his crew did a wonderful job. There was absolutely no clean-up for us, and no damage to any landscaping. Terry came over on a Friday to pressure-wash the deck and 10 days later the crew came to do the staining. They were done in a couple of hours and we couldn't be more pleased with the result.
Description of Work
We have a huge wrap-around wooden deck, part of which is over a patio that leads from the walk-out basement. The deck had been stained 3 years ago but the stain had not lasted. Terry cleaned the deck surface thoroughly and re-stained the upper side and the steps. His crew had to wrap the house and also cover the patio surface below.
