Storage
THE SITE MANAGERS WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND ACCOMMODATING. THEY PROVIDED COLORING BOOKS FOR THE KIDS AND REFRESHMENTS. THEY WERE WILLING TO WORK WITH MY OPEN-ENDED RENTAL NEED. THE FREE TRUCK THEY PROMISED FOR MOVE-IN WAS NOT AVAILABLE AFTER ALL, SO THEY GAVE IT TO US, AS A SPECIAL FRIENDLINESS, FOR MOVE-OUT. HOWEVER, THE TRUCK DID NOT HAVE ANY RINGS OR RAILS TO TIE ANYTHING DOWN TO, RENDERING IT USELESS FOR TRANSPORTING FURNITURE. DURING THE RENTAL PERIOD, A BIRD WAS NESTING IN THE RAFTERS BETWEEN THE UNITS. ONE BABY BIRD DIED IN OUR UNIT AND OTHER BIRDS LEFT PLENTY OF EVIDENCE OF THEIR PRESENCE ON OUR FURNITURE AND UPHOLSTERY.
